Shanchong County, established in Tang Dynasty, which is an ancient county with thousand years of history, only 1 hour’s drive away from Xiamen. ancient stupa, stone built dwellings, temples and ancient camphor trees all can be founded in the villiage.
you can fell spring is coming with green leaves bloom from cornfield and flowers blossom of peach, plum and rape. passing through the bamboo and banana forest, you will see dozens of Chicken and Duck & cattle wandering around the narrow lanes or along the road of pebble, building of Minnan style ancient houses which can indicate story of its owner.
距厦门市区一个小时车程的山重古村，是个千年古村，始建于唐朝。古佛塔、石块砌成的古民居、古庙、古樟树、都将是沿途的风景。玉米田长出绿色的叶子，桃花、李花、油菜花、望眼过去，一片春色；拨开竹林和芭蕉林，赶走热情的鸡鸭和牛群，狭小的巷道，鹅卵石路旁，闽南三进古厝，投射着主人家的身世。

➀ Experience how to make Minnan Local spiced sausage
闽南农家手工制作五香条体验
Minnan local residents all like to make spiced sausage especially when Chinese New Year festival, howerver, this traditional habits and customs are disappearing gradually with the development of industrialization and commercialization since young people would like to buy ready ones from the market instead of making by themselves, but hand-made spiced sausage which can still remind you more of mom’s flavor and sprit of handicraftsman.
闽南人过年过节，喜欢一家人一起做五香条。随着工业化和商业化进入乡村，这样的民俗正在消失，与其在家花心思做五香条，不如买外面现成的。可是，手工制作的五香条，有妈妈的味道，也有手艺人的心意。
You will experience how to make handmade spiced sausage with local residents.
你将和村里的婆婆妈妈们，一起体验五香条是怎么制作的。

limited for 30 families
五公里趣村跑(限30组家庭)
Children age from 3-8 years old can join the 5KM family fun run with their parents, 5KM trail is same with cross country running which start from the beginning to the 5KM distance, there are 3 Missions require parents and children to complete it cooperatively during the 5KM running, accompany your child to run for fun and have good memory of spending time together.
3-8周岁的参加亲友团的小小孩，可以选择与家长一起参加五公里的趣村跑。趣村跑的路线与村跑的路线一致，从起点开始到5km处，沿途设置三个闯关任务，需要家长与小小孩协同完成任务，度过快乐的边跑边玩的亲子时光。

Stand to eat? Yes, this is the unique tradition in Shanchong villiage, you will experience the special local folk-custom together with your friends.
站着吃？是的，这是山重村才有的传统。届时，你将和其他小伙伴们一起体验山重特有的民俗。
Chow mein, Fried rice noodles, Glutinous rice, local Duck and Chop soup, those 4 delicious food are Minnan local traditional country dishes which are usually only served on any weddings or funerals ceremony, all the villiagers will stand and enjoy the feast in a wide & open square.
“四大桶”：炒面、炒米粉、糯米饭、土鸭汤/大骨汤，是闽南乡村古早的传统，节庆、红白喜事等村里大事的时候，全村人都一起在千人广场用餐。
