好饿的毛毛虫
The very hungry caterpillar

在皎洁的月光下，一只小小的虫卵躺在一片树叶上。In the light of the moon, a little egg lay on a leaf.
星期天早上，暖和的太阳升起来了，“啵”一声，一条又小又饿的毛毛虫，从蛋里爬了出来。
One Sunday morning, the warm sun came up and-POP!-out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar.
它要去找一些东西来吃。
He started to look for some food.
星期一，它吃了一个苹果。可是,肚子还是好饿。
On Monday he ate through 1 apple, but he was still hungry.
星期二，它吃了两个梨。可是，肚子还是好饿。
On Tuesday he ate through 2 pears, but he was still hungry.
星期三，它吃了三个李子。
On Wednesday he ate through 3 plums , but he was still hungry.
星期四，它吃了四个草莓。可是，肚子还是好饿。
On Thursday he ate through 4 strawberries, but he was still hungry.
星期五，它吃了五个橘子。可是，肚子还是好饿。
On Friday he ate through 5 oranges, but he was still hungry.
星期六，它吃了一块巧克力蛋糕、一个冰淇淋甜筒、一条腌黄瓜、一块奶酪、一截火腿、一根棒棒糖、一块樱桃派、一条香肠、一个纸杯蛋糕和一片西瓜。On Saturday he ate through 1 piece of chocolate cake, 1 ice-cream cone, 1 pickle, 1 slice of Swiss cheese, 1 slice of salami,1 lollipop, 1 piece of cherry pie, 1 sausage, 1 cupcake, and 1 slice of watermelon.
那天晚上，毛毛虫的肚子好痛！
That night he had a stomachache!
第二天，又是星期天了，毛毛虫吃了一片又嫩又绿的叶子，觉得舒服多了。
The next day was Sunday again.The caterpillar ate through 1 nice green leaf, and after that he felt much better.
现在，毛毛虫不觉得肚子饿了。它不再是一条小毛毛虫了。它是一条又肥又大的毛毛虫。Now he wasn’t hungry any more, and he wasn’t a little caterpillar any more.He was a big, fat caterpillar.
它造了一间小房子，叫做“茧”，把自己包在里头。
它在里头住了两个多星期，然后，把茧咬破一个洞，钻了出来……
啊！毛毛虫变成了一只漂亮的蝴蝶。
He built a small house called a cocoon, around himself.
He stayed inside the for more than 2 weeks.
Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon, pushed his way out and…
He was a beautiful butterfly.
