没有人相信我说出的一切

没有人。在我说话的时候，人们

只是在笑，谈论着天气，或漫不经心地

注视着广场上的鸽子，它们在啄食

或发出咕咕的求偶声。没有人相信

我说出的一切。孩子们跟在我的后面

投掷石子，像当初对待年老的塞尚

当黄昏收拢起橄榄树的叶子

城墙上的石头陷入对历史的沉思

牧人们细数归来的羊群，酒吧里

弥漫着烟草浓烈的气味，但没有人

没有人相信我说出或正在说出的

一切。人们议论着电视中

很久以前的那次坠毁，花花公子

诱拐了某位石油大亨的妻子，议论着

性丑闻，科隆香水，花椰菜和萨义德

他们历数着过去像翻开一册

珍藏的相册。但没有人相信

我说出或正在说出的一切

现在夜晚包围着我们

像铠甲，没有箭镞能够穿透

它坚硬的黑暗。天没有下雨，没有洪水

冲击着堤坝，电影院里上演着

七十年前的那次沉船事件

我在另一个场合(或另一首诗中)说过

这只是出于一种票房的需要

用泪水换取钞票。没有希望正像同样

没有恐惧。旋转木马的阴影静卧在

花丛中，像一个古老的预言

Nobody believes what I have said

Nobody indeed. When I speak, people don’t listen to me

but laugh, or talk about weather, or carelessly

look at the pigeons in the square, which are looking for food

while cooing for a spouse. Nobody believes

what I have said. Children throw cobblestones at me

from the behind, just like treating with aged Paul Cezanne

When dusk draws in the leaves of olive trees

the stones in the city wall begin to be lost in thought of the history

Shepherds are carelessly counting their sheep. Bars are

filled with the smell of tobacco. Yet, nobody

nobody believes what I have said and what I am

speaking of. People like to talk about the air crash

broadcasted on TV not long ago

or the dandy who has abducted an oil tycoon’s wife , or sexual scandal,

or about cloning perfume, or about cauliflower and Edward W. Said

They enumerate the past events, as if having opened

a treasured photo album. But nobody believes

what I have said and what I am speaking of

Now we are surrounded by night

and it is like an armor, which no arrow can penetrate

its darkness. No rainfall, so there is no flood

to lash the dams. A film is on show in cinema, which

is about that shipwreck incident that happened seventy years ago

In another occasion ( or in another poem ) I have said

this is but only a need of box-office value—

Gaining cash with tear. Hopelessness is as same as

fearlessness. The shadow of the spinning- vaulting-horse

lying in the flowering shrubs seems as if an ancient prophecy

张曙光（1956— ），黑龙江省望奎县人。曾下乡“插队”。1982年毕业于黑龙江大学中文系。现在哈尔滨的报社任职。主要作品有：诗集《小丑的花格外衣》《张曙光诗选》等。

About the author：

Zhang Shuguang (1956— ), a native of Wangkui County, Heilongjiang Province. He once went to live and work at a production team in the countryside. In 1982 he graduated from the Chinese language department of Heilongjiang University. He at present serves at a newspaper office in Haerbin City. His major poetry publication include: A Mean Person’s Woolen Overcoat, and Selected Poems of Zhang Shuguang, etc.

那些光

他必须赶在天黑以前

登上最高的那一座山

他的手必须足够大

大而且有力，以确保把那些光牢牢地攥在手里

他想把那些光割掉

但他知道不可能把它们连根剜掉

要剜掉必须登上一座更高的山

背光而立，挥动镢头

因为那些光其实更远

隔着九重山峦的形体

仍然一个劲从大地的深处向上生长

一个人带着镰刀和镢头

摇摇晃晃地登上了一座最高的山

这是一个醉酒的人和有力的人

酒精的力量使他亢奋

可是他在最后感到绝望

他发现光是恒定的事物

他不能把它们完全掐灭

反而被它们变得更小、更黑

像一块烧焦的石头

Liu Cheng

That Light

Before nightfall they must

Climb onto the hight mountain

His hands must be big enough

And forceful, to firmly grasp that light

He wants to cut off that light

But he fails to uproot it

To uproot it he has to climb onto a higher mountain

With his back to the light to wield pickaxe

Because the light is actually far away

Partitioned by nine folds of mountain physique

Still growing upward from the depth of the earth

With sickle and pickaxe a person

Climbs onto the highest mountain in staggering steps

This is a drunk person who is strong

The effect of alcohol makes him excited

But at last he is despaired

He finds that light is a constant thing

He cannot snuff them all

But he is smaller, darker in their light

Like a scorched stone

作者简介：

刘诚（1956— ）, 本名刘树之，曾用笔名刘歌。生于陕西省洋县。1979年毕业于汉中师范学院（今陕西理工学院）中文系。1980年开始写作。曾任汉中市劳动就业服务局培训科科长，现任陕西汉中市作家协会副主席，《第三极》诗刊主编。第三极文学运动首倡人及核心诗人。主要作品有：诗集《走向人群》《愤怒》《词语的暴动》《命运·九歌》《刘诚诗选》，诗论集《先锋的幻想》《绝对的力量》等。另有散文集、小说集多种行世。

About the author:

Liu Cheng (1956—), his original name is Liu Shuzhi, with the pen name of Liu Ge. Born in Yangxian County of Shaaxi Province, he graduated from the Chinese Department of Hanzhong Normal Colleg (now Shaanxi University of Technology) in 1979, and he began writing in 1980. He has ever been director of the Training Department of Hanzhong Employment Services Bureau, and he is now vice chairman of Hanzhong Writers Association of Shaanxi Province, editor-in-chief of a poetry periodical entitled The Third Pole, and he is the promoter and key poet of the Third Pole literary movement. His main works include poetry collections such as Walking Toward the Crowd, Rage, Insurrection of Words, Fate & Nine Songs, Selected Poems of Liu Cheng, collections of poetry criticism such as The Fantasy of Vanguards, The Absolute Power; besides, he has published some collections of prose and short stories.
