Being (and other four poems)

The Earth is burning,

the rains have dried up,

I drowned out my dreams

in the midst of chaotic crowds.

Confused, the Sun

is collecting rays,

the giggling restlessness

pushed it into the clouds.

A spaceless fog

blinded the steps,

the darkness screamed

under the shackles stamp trace.

I dug up stars,

I set the shores in fire,   

maybe in easier ways

will swim out the days.

The NO

I said: NO!

I said it and I did’t unsay it,

I said it and I didn’t resay it.

I cut it.

The echo of the NO

stuck like a cobweb

and waves the walls

of the cage

of my restlessness.

The echo of the NO

spawns like a dust

in the pores of the door

is search for a

peephole.

I will leave it

a little bit longer

to hang on the keyhole.

Vanity

A grain of dust we are

in the Universe,

yet we deposit selfishness

in the interspace

on the soul’s cobblestones.

Mean-spiritedly we pant

in the race against the time,

yet we add scents

on the ego that hangs

like a growth in the throat.

With powdered tongues

and a marrow with spikes

we build fences, high,

for the burden to pass us by.

Even if we outgrow ourselves

we will still be a dust,

a dust of the timelessness.

At the crossroad

At the quantum crossroad

of the lost existence

there are no traffic lights

to regulate our absence.

At a time that seems to be standing still,

anticipating with patients

for our cognition to uprise

is omnipresence.

On the sidewalk of the indecisiveness

each particle energy

floats in uncertainty.

With each echo of the Second Hand

of the heart’s atrium

we program the algorithm

of our reality.

If we write SADNESS – we will be miserable,

if we choose HAPPINESS – it will be All,

if we encode CALMNESS – it is reachable.

In the zenith

of the contrasted sinking and defying,

our expectations

are dimensioned performances

of the future self-designed achievements.

(No)Time

The doorbell

and the modern self-isolation

are swallowing the rhapsody

of their loneliness.

The balcony is a park

of the dreamed cheerfulness.

In the time differentials

of the cross fire

of the volatility and computability

we emptied all the creams with protective factors

from the prickly tongues of the (in)human radiation.

In the cracked mirror of the essence

dignity bleeds into the joints of the obedience.

From the pot of the indecisiveness

evaporates the breath of the presence.

The silence of the condensed quietness

thunders like never before.

大地正燃烧，

雨水已干涸，

在混乱的人群中，

梦想被我淹没。

奇怪，太阳

正收敛光芒，

咯咯作响的躁动

把它推入层云之中。

无边的尘雾

迷乱了脚步，

镣铐的印迹之下，

黑暗嘶嚎。

我掘出星辰，

再点燃海岸，

或许能更简单地，

游出、逃离这般时光。

不

我说：“不！”

说出来了，就不再收回，

说出来了，也不再重复。

至此打住。

“不”的回声

挥之不去，黏如蛛网，

也震动了墙壁

——是牢笼的墙壁

——是燥心的牢笼。

“不”的回声

如一粒埃尘，

落在门的孔隙中

找寻

窥视的小洞。

我将留它

在钥匙孔里

多挂一会儿。

渺小

宇宙茫茫，

我们只是尘埃渺渺，

把自私寄留在

灵魂卵石的

缝隙之中。

同时间赛跑

我们卑狭地喘气，

但也给那

喉中赘肉般的自我

增添了气息。

用碾成粉的舌头，

配上带尖刺的骨髓，

我们高筑篱墙，

让烦忧的重担从身边溜走。

即使长大、成熟、变老

我们仍将是埃土一粒，

一颗永恒的尘垢。

在十字路口

迷失存在的

量子路口，

没有信号灯

调节我们的不在。

在那似乎凝滞的时刻，

与病友一同盼着

我们认知的飞升

这即是遍在。

在犹豫不决的人行道上

每个粒子能量

都在不定中漂浮。

伴着心脏秒针的

每次回声，

我们为现实的

算法编程。

输入“悲伤”——就心酸苦楚

选择“快乐”——便圆满幸福

编码“沉静”——则安宁满足

在沉沦和反抗间

反差的顶峰，

我们的期望

是未来自我设计成就的

削定了尺寸的表演。

门铃

连同现代的自我隔离

都在吞咽着它们孤独的

狂想曲。

阳台是

梦中欢乐的公园。

波动性与可算性

火力交叉，

在其时间差异中，

从人类/非人类辐射的尖刺口舌之下，

我们把所有含有保护因子的药霜清除。

在本质的破碎镜像中，

尊严渗入了服从的关节。

从犹豫不定的烹锅中，

存在的迹象蒸发、逸散。

安静浓缩而成的沉寂，

发出了前所未有的雷鸣。

About the Author:

  Vesna Mundishevska-Veljanovska born in 1973 in Bitola is a member of the Macedonian Writers’ Association, Macedonian Sciencе Society - Bitola, and Bitola’s Literary Circle. She is the author of 13 books of poetry, two books of critical-essay texts, co-author of a poetry book for children and the author and co-author of 7 vocational books for teachers. Her poetry has been translated into many languages and represented in anthologies. She has won numerous poetry awards.

  She is editor of the journal of culture, literature, drama, film and publishing— Sovremeni dijalozi (Contemporary Dialogues) — issued by Macedonian Science Society, and was the editor of the journal of literature, art and culture Rast (Growth), a member of the Macedonian Science Society’s Editorial Council, editor-in-chief of Sovremeni dijalozi (Contemporary Dialogues), and editor of about forty poetry and prose books. She was secretary of the Bitola’s Literary Circle, as well as president of the Literature and Culture Association “Development” - Bitola, and of the Literary Youth of Macedonia - Bitola. She has become Ambassador of Peace in Cercle Universel Des Ambassadeurs De La Paix-Suisse / France (Universal Circle of Ambassadors of Peace – Switzerland / France) since 2016.
