Day 1.
Hanoi Arrival
Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival, your driver will greet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the time is at your leisure.

Day 2.
Hanoi City Sightseeing
This morning, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, which features the life of Ho Chi Minh, the nation's founder. Then take a guided tour of One Pillar Pagoda, situated on a pillar made of a single stone, in the midst of a lotus pond.
Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam, was built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages, and outstanding Vietnamese scholars.
In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Ethnology. Then, take a walking tour through the iconic Old Quarter. The streets of this district are bustling with scooters, bicycles, and cars zipping around pedestrians. The best way to enjoy the charming colonial architecture is to wander leisurely. We will stop for a cup of Vietnamese coffee.
Your guide and private driver will accompany you back to your hotel, or enjoy your dinner at your pace in the Old Quarter and soak up the atmosphere on your own.

Day 3.
Hanoi - Halong Bay
After breakfast, drive 3 hours (D-car Limousine / Shuttle bus provided by Cruise) to Halong Bay, one of the wonders of the East, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waters like dragons' teeth.
After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay, swim on a quiet beach, or sunbathe on the deck.
No Private tour guide or driver today, there will be assistants on the cruise help you check in
Later in the afternoon, visit a fishing village living in the bay for generations. At sunset, join a bamboo rowing sampan to discover a water tunnel with coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board for sunset and later unwind at the restaurant for dinner.
Note: since there are many boats offering tours on Halong Bay, the above tour description is for introduction purposes only. Actual activity may vary due to suppliers and we will confirm the final itinerary when the specific boat is confirmed.

Day 4.
Back to Hanoi - Da Nang by Flight - Hoi An
Wake up to Tai Chi exercises on the sun deck and continue cruising the bays. Relax with a cup of hot coffee before departing to the splendid Sung Sot Cave where stalactites hanging from the high ceiling take on numerous shapes and forms.
Enjoy late brunch on board while cruising back to the boat docking station. Arrive at the boat docking station around 11:30 am.
Return to the Hanoi hotel where we stayed before by shuttle, our private tour guide and driver will meet you there, then escort you to catch a flight to Da Nang.
Upon arrival, you will escort to Hoi An for hotel check-in.

Day 5.
Hoi An Ancient Town Tour
After breakfast, start with a visit to the Hoi An Market, which is one of Vietnam’s best. Fresh produce and fish are available; this is also a suitable location to pick up some fine silk. Then you will have a half-hour cycling through the rice fields and peaceful villages that showcase areca flora.
After reaching the local wharf, you will get on the leading boat and enjoy experiences from learning traditional fishing techniques and how to row a unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat, fishing and catching the crabs and coconut mussels while exploring the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of a past war.
In the afternoon, visit Hoi An Ancient Town, a major trading center in Southeast Asia in the 16th century. Start with the 200-year-old Tan Ky House, a beautiful home lovingly preserved over seven generations. Walking along the river, you will approach the Japanese Covered Bridge, a wooden bridge with a history of more than 400 years.
Continue on foot to the 17th-century Chinese Chua Ong Pagoda - the neighborhood around it has distinctly Chinese-inspired buildings and is lovely to explore at a relaxed pace.

Day 6.
Hoi An - Ba Na Hills - Hoi An
Departure to Ba Na Hills, passing the sea shore on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, one of the most beautiful roads of Da Nang City and Red Beach, where the French first landed in Da Nang.
Take the Guinness World records winning cable car. You can watch the lush jungle and waterfalls along the way. First, step on Golden Bridge which stands 1,400m above sea level in the Ba Na hills and extends over the treetops from the edge of a leafy cliff face offering tourists uninterrupted views of the majestic landscape beneath.
Later visit the Le Jardin, old wineries remains of French Villas, and Ling Ung Pagoda with 27m high Buddha statue. We then leave for the second cable car station to visit the Peak of Chua Mountain at the height of 1,487m. You will also see the trail of Dreaming Stream, Rainbow Waterfall, Suspension Bridge, Golden Valley, and the ruined Opera House.
After lunch, you may play with wild monkeys and take photos, and then we will return to the Cable car station at the foot of Ba Na Mountain. Afterwards, transfer you back to your hotel for relaxation.

Day 7.
Hoi An - Da Nang - Fly to Ho Chi Minh City
Our driver and tour guide will pick up you at the hotel and then transfer you to Da Nang Airport to take the flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
After arrival, star tour to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. Discover these amazing systems developed by the guerrillas fighting in the Vietnam War. You'll have an opportunity to see the various weapons used in the war on display. The impressive underground system they built remains to tell the story of the Vietnam War.
After returning to the city, You will visit the Saigon Central Post Office, a stunning architectural marvel with rich Gothic, Renaissance, and French influences.
In the end, transfer to the hotel.

Day 8.
Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh
Leave the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town that lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise Islands.
Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around the country lane and see orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, and folk song music which is performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation. Ride a hand-rowed sampan through the Thoi Son canal and treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit the honey-bee farm, and enjoy the honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
In the afternoon, time for cycling around Tan Thach village, and meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong Delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoying cool breeze for those who can't join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh Departure
Free and easy on your own in the morning. Your driver will pick you up at the confirmed time and then transfer you to the airport for your international home flight. Service ends here.

If you have to cancel your reservation for some reasons
more than 14 days prior to the departure date, the deposit would be fully refunded;
if you cancel 7 to 14 days prior to the departure date, we'll keep a deposit of CNY2,000 as a cancellation fee;
if you cancel 0 to 7 days prior to the departure date, you'll NOT get a refund.
In case meet with severe weather that poses a risk to people's safety or any government restriction, JoyTravel could cancel the trip up to 1 day in advance, and the trip fee would be fully refunded. Please note that we are NOT responsible for any flight cancellation fees. You should contact the airline company directly to deal with this issue.
