中国法律新视界⑥丨修改当中的中国海商法，这些你不得不知！

2023年是共建“一带一路”倡议提出10周年。倡议提出以来，“一带一路”倡议始终保持强大韧性和旺盛活力，持续提供新机遇。
要实现“一带一路”倡议，法治保障是必不可少的关键要素。为此，“一带一路”律师联盟广州中心及广州国际商贸法律服务中心在广州律协微信公众号设立“中国法律新视界”专栏，并邀请广州地区部分从事涉外法律业务的资深律师，拍摄、制作并陆续推出关于中国法律的英文宣传视频，在对外展现广州律师涉外法律业务能力的同时，让更多的境外主体和律师同行了解、熟悉中国法律，为推动广州涉外法治建设作出积极的贡献。
2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. Since its inception, the Belt and Road Initiative has remained resilient and dynamic, providing new opportunities.
To realize the Belt and Road Initiative, the rule of law is an essential element. To this end, the Belt and Road International Lawyers Association Guangzhou Centre and Guangzhou International Commercia Legal Service Centre invite some senior lawyers engaged in foreign-related legal business in Guangzhou to shoot, produce and launch English propaganda videos about Chinese law one after another. While showing the foreign-related legal service capability of Guangzhou lawyers to the outside world, more foreign subjects and lawyers will understand and be familiar with Chinese law, which can make positive contribution to promoting the construction of foreign-related rule of law in Guangzhou.

该视频中，林翠珠律师言简意赅地介绍了正在修改当中的中国海商法，介绍了它的特点及其修改进程。海商法具有国际性、专业性、特殊性等特点。修改海商法应当与时俱进，紧跟国际立法趋势和技术发展，从调整范围、船舶物权、责任限额等方面进行修改。
In the video, Lawyer Judy Lin succinctly introduced the Maritime Code of P.R.China, which is currently under modification. Judy also introduced its characteristics and the progress of modification. The Maritime Code is featured with internationality, professionalism, and particularity. The modification of Maritime Code should keep pace with international legislative trends and technological developments, and it is suggested to be modified in respect of the rage of adjustment, ship property rights and limits of liability.
