Shanghai reports 5 more coronavirus cases as total hits 208
Shanghai reported another five coronavirus cases, including one in serious condition, the Shanghai Health Commission said on Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, another 35 suspected cases were ruled out as of midnight Monday.

Temperature screenings begin at 9 Metro stations
Passengers taking Metro trains at nine stations in Shanghai had their temperatures checked starting Monday.
It takes only about two seconds to check the temperature of a passenger, and no unusually long queues have resulted from the new measures so far.

On Monday, Rabbi Shalom Greenberg, director of the Shanghai Jewish Center, came to the Shanghai Jewish Refugee Museum with a gift of 10,000 masks to distribute amongst elderly Chinese residents in Hongkou District.

Chinese health authorities Tuesday said it received reports of 3,235 new confirmed cases of novel coronavirus infection and 64 deaths on Monday from 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

Woman with pneumonia gives birth to healthy baby in NE China
A woman infected with the novel pneumonia (2019-nCoV) gave birth to a healthy baby in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province on January 30.
Doctors delivered the baby girl by cesarean section in Harbin No. 6 Hospital, which said on Monday that tests on the newborn on Friday and Sunday both came back negative.

Coronavirus detected on doorknob in S. China's Guangzhou
Scientists in south China's Guangzhou last Sunday detected the nucleic acid of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) on a doorknob at the house of a patient diagnosed with the disease, according to an official for the Disease Control and Prevention Center in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province.

Hong Kong tightens border entry policy amid coronavirus outbreak
Chief Executive of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) Carrie Lam on Monday announced that the city will suspend most of its checkpoints to the Chinese mainland from midnight to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
