Health reminder from SH Center for Disease Control

Dear citizens/tourists,

Shanghai has launched the level 1 response procedures for major public health emergencies and taken the most stringent prevention and control measures. To facilitate such measures against the spread of the novel coronavirus pneumonia and to better safeguard your own health, you are kindly reminded to:

1. Wash your hands before eating or after using the toilet; cover your nose and mouth with tissues when coughing or sneezing; refrain from visiting crowded places and wear a mask if you have to; avoid close contacts with people with respiratory tract symptoms (cough and sneeze); and open windows frequently to keep good ventilation and fresh air.

2. Keep alert to your physical conditions, and immediately visit the fever clinic of a close medical institution with a mask in case of fever, cough, shortness of breath among other respiratory tract symptoms, in particular, if you had a history of visiting or staying in Hubei province, or contacts with person(s) with fever and respiratory tract symptoms from Hubei province over the 14 days prior to the occurrence of symptoms.
