The New Premium Ride-hailing App for Quality in Motion

StarRides offers premium ride-hailing services and is now available in 6 different Chinese cities: Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xi’an, Beijing, and Shanghai, with launches in more cities planned.

StarRides is a Joint Venture by Daimler and Geely, established in 2019, offering premium chauffeur services in China and using exclusively Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Users can select from a portfolio of services on the StarRides App (available in both Chinese and English) or the StarRides website (available in English) such as one-way booking, bookings by the hour, airport transfers, cross-city trips, family pick-up, and more. Customers can also choose between luxury sedans such as Mercedes-Benz S-Class, or E-Class, or even Mercedes V-Class MPV for seating of up to 6 passengers. With the recent launch of our English App, bookings can be fully completed in English and customers can complete payment by using international credit cards, Alipay, and WeChat Pay.

Daimler’s slogan, The Best or Nothing, is reflected in StarRides’ promise to deliver The Best in Motion - premium Mercedes-Benz vehicles paired with the best-in-class service. To StarRides, premium is not only defined as a luxury customer experience in a really nice car, with a chauffeur wearing white gloves. At StarRides, premium means safety, reliability, and consistency.

StarRides chauffeurs are carefully selected and continuously trained according to international 5-star hotel service standards to ensure the best possible customer experience on the road. As the chauffeurs are directly employed by StarRides, every single one has passed all the necessary health and background checks, and regularly receives additional service, etiquette, and driving training. Each vehicle is owned, operated, and maintained by StarRides, guaranteeing a safe space for business people, family, friends, and children. Furthermore, the vehicles get disinfected and cleaned before and after every trip.
