Autumn Salt Dough Crafts for Toddlers 高盐面团秋季挂饰

Making salt dough is super easy, and it’s perfect to make beautiful fall ornaments with your kids. And what is better than pumpkin pie spiced salt dough during this time of the year?

How to make salt dough:

2 cups flour

1 cup salt

1 cup water

2 tsb pumpkin piespice

Mix all ingredients together, starting with the dry ones. If the dough is too sticky, you can slowly add more flour. If you’ve achieved the right consistency, you can start making your ornaments. You can use cookie cutters or just design your own things. Depending on your child’s age, they can work on their own or will need guidance. My toddler liked playing with the dough, and in the end it turned into imaginative play like with play dough.

After you’ve done all ornaments, put them into the oven at 200C for 1 hour (but be sure to check,depending on how thick you made the ornaments, you will need more time or less).The ornaments have to be hard as stone. After they are cooled down, you and your kids can get creative and add color to them.

自己做高盐面团其实很简单，用着高盐面团可以自己做各种各样的小挂饰和作品。秋天做一个南瓜香料的高盐面团是最合适的。

高盐面团做法：

面粉 2杯

盐 1杯

水1杯

南瓜香料 2勺

把盐、水、面粉混合成面团。上手揉面~注意，此时面团不好揉，因为水不是很多。。。 就当练臂力啦。揉好了可以擀成4毫米厚的面饼。用模具刻出喜欢的形状（如果喜欢3D的，就捏成自己喜欢的形状）挂起来的话，记得在风干前钻出小孔哟。 （做3D的话，风干，装饰后可以直接当装饰物摆在桌上）。如果你的宝宝年龄还小可以给他帮忙做小挂饰。我的宝宝最后就把高盐面团当成橡皮泥，玩得很开心。

做好了所有的小挂饰，需要把它们放烤箱里，200度一个小时（但是要看好，因为如果做的小挂饰比较薄不需要那么长时间，如果比较厚还需要更长时间，主要的是考好了要像石头一样硬）。小挂饰凉了以后就可以开始涂上颜色，发挥自己创造能力。
