Fall Name Game 秋季名字游戏

Even though my little one doesn’t really know many letters,one of her first letter was “S” from her own name. With all the great Leaf themed activities, I couldn’t resist using leaves to make a simple name letter game.

虽然我的宝宝还不认识很多字母，她第一个认识的字母就是自己名字里的“S”。现在外边有这么多漂亮的秋天的树叶，所以一定要做成一个小游戏。

MATERIAL NEEDED:

·        Leaves

·        Doublesided tape

·        Paper strip

·        marker

需要的材料：

·        树叶

·        双面胶

·        卡纸

·        马克笔

If your kids are older you can talk about names generally: what each of their names are, and the letters they know in their names.

For my 27 months old I wrote out her name on the paper strip, leaving space between letters (you’re going to need enough space for a leaf to cover each letter). Since she’s still young I only used upper case letters (but for older kids youcan use upper and lower case letters).

We used the fake leaves we had at home but it’s best if you take your kids for a walk, picking up one leaf for every letter in the name. I wrote the letters on the leaves, and asked my little one to match the lettered leaves with the letters written out on paper. I put double-sided tape over the name, and she stuck the leaf letters over the paper letters.

Very simple, and quick. Of course you can use other words than the names. For example fall related vocabulary.

如果孩子年龄大点你可以和他们谈谈自己的名字：比如名字是什么，用什么字母等等。

我的宝宝才27个月了所以我先把她的名字在纸上写下来，中间留点空（因为你需要贴上树叶）。因为她还小我只用了大字母，但如果孩子大点也可以解释字母大小的不同。

我们这次用假树叶，但是最好你带着孩子出去转转，让他给每一个字母找一个树叶。然后我把名字的字母也写上树叶，邀请我的孩子自己把树叶上的字母和纸上面的字母配对。纸上我贴了双面胶，这样宝宝可以很容易自己把树叶贴上去。

很简单的小游戏。当然你也可以用别的单词，比如秋天单词也很不错。
