英文:It is about two weeks before the 2020 election in the U.S.
I am making this video talking about the important 2020 election and share my decision-making process to decided how to cast my vote. I noted that some people do not know the facts because the media is selectively reporting or hiding certain facts. This includes the traditional main-stream media and some online social media operators such as Twitter, FaceBook, and Google. As an immigrant from a communist country, it is all too familiar to us. Misuse pens and mouths to manipulate the general population. It is hard for me to believe what I observe now in this country.
Many immigrants from communist/socialist countries never feel so threatened by what is happening today in America and by the extreme left in this country.
America is at a crossroad.
This election is crucially important. Everyone should vote and every vote counts.
I deciding which candidate, I focused on three levels ofconsideration.
The first level of consideration is which direction that Ilike to see this country going.
The second level of consideration is which candidate will take this country in the direction I like to see.
The third level of consideration is which candidate is more electable.
The key is to prioritize these considerations. The first level takes the top priority andthe second level takes a higher priority than the third level.
I will start with the first level of consideration.
There are two opposing directions in 2020: capitalism and socialism/communism.
Most people born and raised in the U.S. have had no opportunity to experience these two opposing systems.
We are immigrants from China, a socialist country, and we know the difference deeply.
Before we left the China, we longed for capitalism.
Therefore, I would like to spend a few minutes to presentthe two systems, based on my first-hand knowledge and experience.
Capitalism provides its people the freedom or liberty to think, to speak, and to pursue happiness. It provides opportunities to all and rewards those who work hard. Such freedom and opportunity lead totechnological and social innovations and yield societal advancement.
Freedom is the hall mark of the Constitution of the UnitedStates. Faith, traditional values, common sense, and freedom made the U.S. the most wealthy and powerful countryin the world. People from all over the world came to the U.S. not only because it is a land of opportunity but more so, for the freedom guaranteed under the Constitution.
Freedom ensures independence. Traditional values reward hard working and risk taking. Equality with fair nesspositively motivates and incentivizes people. The result is a country that always moves forward. These capitalist values made America successful in each and every industrial revolution.
In contrast, socialism presents a very different picture. The government in a socialist country forces thought uniformity, usually through political coercion, suppression, and terror. Being politically correct is a must.
The socialist system deprives people of their freedom and silences or cancels anything that does not fit their ideology. People in a socialist country usually live infear and have a deep sense of hopelessness. Socialist countries enforceequality without fairness, which kills motivation and desire.
Without freedom under suppression, such a society lacks energy and creativity in innovation and progress, resulting in economicst agnation and poverty.
Examples of socialist or communist countries include the previous Soviet Union, Russia, CN, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela. Marxistsin socialist countries are masked by beautiful slogans. They demand uniform thoughts, suppress different voices via oppression or political correctness. They advocate equality without fairness, which promotes laziness & dependency. Without exception, socialism has driven every economy into the ground with human suffering.
Marxists/Socialists are on the rise in this country. For example, Sanders/AOC/Omar ANTIFA, some of them claimed to be trained Marxists. They believe in revolution via destruction or violence. They have intense hate towards traditional values and common sense. Their ideology will lead to a society with endless hardship without opportunity.
Why failure is the inevitable outcome of socialism? Socialist slogans, although sounding beautiful, are against human nature and have never worked. Socialism calls for re-distribution of wealth, which kills incentive to work. Socialist sattain power through revolution with violence in the name of freedom ,but they monopolizeany freedom/opportunity without letting others to share. They chain people and creativity in cages.
We have seen both systems and will never want to go back to socialism because we have seen the terrible destruction from socialism; we have experienced the lies of Marxists; we have witnessed the drastic contrast between socialists’ beautiful slogans and the tragic outcome of their ideology.
Therefore, many immigrants from communist countries will never want to see US to become a socialist country. I am one of them.
Having made the choice of Capitalism, the next consideration is which candidate will continue capitalism?
In my view, Trump stands for traditional values and common sense. He has demonstrated in the last 4 years that he has strengthened our capitalism.
Biden works with the left democrats trying to move this country in a socialist direction.
Examining the facts, it is evident that Trump has, in a short 4 years, significantly improved the capitalist economy domestically here in the U.S. and has made tremendous progress internationally.
Specifically, I made a list ofrepresentative achievements that Trump achieved in the last 4 years.
Domestically, Trump has improved economic growth to achievethe lowest unemployment rate in decades, including for minorities, lowest povertyrate since recording the statistics, and the impressive stock market growth. Trump built the wall to stop illegal immigrants and achieved energy independence. Trump revived the U.S. space program and rebuilt our military. He pushed through the tax reform to attract manufacturers back to the U.S. Trump has so far placed two Supreme Court justices. These domestic achievements have sparked a high confidence and a great optimism in the country.
Internationally, Trump eliminated ISIS and killed terrorist leaders. He curtailed North Korea and cornered Iran. He held CN responsible for the unfair trade practice. In America, Trump reached new trade deals with Canada and Mexico. In the Middle East, Trump administration signed the historic Middle East deals. In Europe, Trump successfully pushed through the Serbia-Kosovo deal. Because of these achievements, Trump has been nominated three times for Nobel Peace Prize.
Journal Economist compared Trump’s achievement with that of his predecessors.
On unemployment rate of African Americans, under Bush’s 8 years, the lowest point is 7.9%; under Obama’s 8 years, the lowest point is 8.1%; under Trump’s short 3.5 years, the lowest point is 5.6%.
On stock market growth, for New York Stock Exchange, during the 8 years under Obama, it grew 7.3% while duringa short 3.5 years, Trump achieved a growth of 35%; on Dow Jones index, duringthe 8 years of Obama, it grew 32.3% while during a short 3.5 years, Trump achieved 105%; on Dow Futures, during the 8 years under Obama, it grew 28% while during a short 3.5 years, Trump achieved 101%; on NASDAQ, during the 8 years under Obama, it grew 86% while in a short 3.5 years, Trump achieved 243.3%; on semiconductor industry, during the 8 years under Obama, it grew 14% while in a short 3.5 years, Trump achieved 174%.
There is no question that Trump has achieved tremendously for the American people in a short 3.5 years!
Now, let’s look at Biden. There is not much data that can be found to show Biden’s achievement. However, it is a fact that he has voted for various billsthat have harmed the U.S. capitalist economy and employment. In politics for 47 years, Biden’s record is pretty bad.
But now, Biden is working with people from the extreme left-wing, such as Sanders, Harris, Pelosi, AOC, and Omar, to push for a socialist agenda.
I searched online for Biden’s achievement but could not find any. But I did find different information that shows the opposite.
Domestically, Biden has vote dearly days against race desegregation and voted against busing for desegregation. He backed crime legislation that cause huge prison populations. Biden flip flopped on many important issues. He lied about his credential and university performances. He was caught plagiarizing quite many times. In fact, he was forced to exit the campaign for president early years because of he was caught lying and plagiarizing. Biden created jobs for his family members while serving as the vice president.
Internationally, Biden voted for the Iraq war and he was against killing Bin Laden. It was also recently revealed that Biden is corrupt. He and his family profited $400million from Ukraine. They received $3.5million from Russia. Worse yet, the yreceived millions from the CN.
Biden and his family gave U.S. technologies to CN to build the CN military and invested in CN nuclear power companies that misappropriated U.S. technologies. Biden and his family have significant ties to the CN and military.
Given these facts and concerns, which candidate will continue capitalism? There is doubt that it will be Trump.
Now, let’s look at the level III consideration on which candidate is more electable.
In the past, this often has beenthe focal point of voters, because the difference between the two parties wasusually not that big.
But, not this year.
We have two Parties and two opposite directions.
The two candidates personify two extremes.
The U.S. is at a crossroad.
Given this, the choice of acandidate needs to be in alignment with the choice of direction. One can vote a candidate based on the direction one wants to see. That is, if one want scapitalism, one should elect Trump. If one wants socialism, one will elect Biden.
Another way to vote can be still to select a candidate by assessing the candidates by looking at different criteria related to electability.
I assessed both candidates against different criteria and believe that the choice is still Trump.
Specifically, I looked at the following criteria related to electability.
1. Values
2. Track Record
3. Leadership
4. Devotion to the country
5. Ability & Strength
6. A Doer vs. A Mouthpiece
7. Personality
I will start with values.
“Conservatism” has, over the years, been made by the liberals into a “dirty” word so that people often no longer think of the content or meaning of “conservatism.” It should not be.
Faith, hard working ethics, family values, responsibility, independence, self-discipline, and community represent the corevalues of conservatism. My values align with that of conservatism.
Trump and the Republican Party represent conservatism.
Next, I evaluate the trackrecord of both candidates.
Trump has achieved much in ashort 4 years, both domestically and internationally, as I just walked through some of Trump’s accomplishments listed in a slide.
What About Biden?
There is not much data showing Biden’s achievements. Even his supporters could not really recount his distinct achievements. If anything, Biden has many negative records. It is a fact that he has voted for bills that have harmed the U.S. Capitalist economy and employment. In politics for 47 years, Biden had voted times that are against the American’s interests.
Looking at the track record, the choice is pretty clear. I will vote for a candidate who has a proven positive track record.
On the next criterion on leadership, Trump clearly leads, whether one agrees with the direction he is leading to or not. Not only he as the leadership, Trump also has tremendous energy, enthusiasm, the ability to mobilize many at a rapid speed.
On the other hand, Biden neverled. His 47 years political career say sit all. His record does not support any claim that he has the ability to lead. He does not have vision or leadership. He lacks of energy and excitement and not able to mobilize others.
America needs a leader; the people in America need a leader. I will vote for leadership.
The next criterion is on devotion to the country.
America needs someone who is devoted to this country.
Comparing the two candidates, Trumpis devoted to the country. He left his successful businesses behind and sacrificing for America. Trump donated his presidential income to the country every year. It shows quite extraordinary devotion. During the pandemic, he tried experimental drugs which, to me, is the ultimate devotion.
On the other hand, Biden has not demonstrated that he is devoted to the country. Perhaps just the opposite. Therecent news reported that he and his family exploited his position as a government official to gain business advantages and corruption by accepting large sum of money from different Communist countries. 47 years without much achievement also raised question about his devotion.
The facts clearly divide the two candidates apart on this point. I will vote for Trump because of his unquestioned devotion to this country.
The fifth criterion onelectability is ability and strength.
First, on ability. Trump has demonstrated his ability to lead, to direct, and to deliver. His track record evidenced that ability. Trump worked tirelessly under constant attacks, yet with creativity still delivered in the last 4 years tremendously more than any other modern president.
But Biden’s record does not support a claim that he has the ability or capacity to be a president. In over 47 years of his political career, there was no distinctive achievement of his own. Biden’s handling of the H1N1 pandemic as the responsiblevice president was disastrous with 70 million Americans infected without any strategy or even test. That shows hisinability.
America needs someone who is capable of making America great again. We do not need a professional politician who has not achieved much except using his prominent position to gain for himself and for hisfamily.
I will vote for a candidate who has been shown to be very able.
On strength, Trump has exhibited exceptional strength. He will not budge under any difficult situations. He is resilient and kept his focus on delivering what he has set out to do, even when faced with non-stop attacks.
These are the qualities of a strong leader. That is what we need.
In contrast, Biden is weak, both physically and mentally. Over 47 years of his political career, it did not appear that he was ever strong as aleader.
There are also concerns about this mental fitness. He often appears to be confused, illogical, has trouble to speak meaningful sentences, for gotidentities of people he has known for a long time, and called them by wrong names. During the campaign and pandemic, Biden was not active at all and hid at home most of the time. Biden does not have the strength required for a President even if he is elected.
America needs someone who is strong and resilient. Between the two candidates, Trump certainly wins on this point as well.
The next criterion one lectability is on a doer vs. a mouthpiece. Most jobs need a doer instead of a mouthpiece. This is particularly so when it comes to a leader.
The U.S. needs a strong and creative doer President to make America great again.
Between Trump and Biden, who is a doer?
Whether one likes what Trump does or not, it cannot be denied that Trump is a doer.
Biden is not a doer. In his 47 years of political career, he is not even a good mouthpiece. It is a fact that Biden lied many times about his credentials, his school performance, and got caught plagiarizing on various occasions. Such facts raise questions about his integrity and decency, on top of his ability to be a doer.
America definitely needs a doer. The president also needs to be a mouthpiece but not a dishonest mouthpiece who lies and plagiarizes.
The choice based on this criterionis also Trump.
The last criterion that Ievaluated on electability is personality.
Some voters say they will not vote for Trump because they do not like Trump’s personality.
Frankly, I don’t necessarily like Trump’s personality either. If I am choosing a person to marry, personality issue will be a significant concern. But I am here voting for someone to managethe country and taking the country to a direction I like to see.
To me, there are other more important issues in the country that should take a higher priority than personality.
Examining the personality of both candidates, each has pros and cons in their personality.
Some people complain that Trumpis too blatant, sometimes is rough, sometimes does not appear to be presidential, can be abrupt, likes to brag, and can be confrontational, e.g.,with the media. I agree with these except on being confrontational with the media. I have watched at times of the new conferences that Trump held. It is shocking to see how disrespectfully the journalists had treated a duly elected President. They asked questions that were meant to hurtinstead of being substantive. They are just so unbelievably rude. Given that, I personally think that being confrontational to the media is a right thing todo.
Trump has positive side in his personality. He is a straight talker and transparent. That is, what you see is what you get. He talks straight to the point which many voters like. He is very energetic, hard working, creative, and fast moving. He makes promises, he remembers his promises, and he keeps his promises. In fact, Trump has delivered more than what he promised.
On Biden, there are also some positive side. He is a smooth politician because he has been a career politician for many years. He sometimes talks nicer but sometimes he can also be rude and rough. Biden sometimes appears to be decent guy.
However, there are negatives score son Biden’s personality as well. There were just too many caught lies and repeated plagiarism. Biden sometimes acts like a sneaky politician which is the other side of being a smooth politician. More serious issues also include that he sometimes has brain fogs, he was often confused. He is sluggish. He has no energy and is not active. A big issue is that Biden exhibited weird behavior towards females, including both adult women and young girls. Biden sometimes kneels for no apparent reason, likely for political gain and he appear to do anything to gain politically.
In terms of Personality, although Trump can be annoying, it is tolerable.
As to Biden, big issues are his lying about things such as his credentials, scholarship, academic performance, etc. If a person lies about such things, how can anyone trust him? He also repeatedly plagiarizes. He may appear gentler but the question is what is behind that?
Biden has no fire power, he does not excite people, he is boring, and not capable of mobilizing others. When he is present, he is often not quite there.
Balancing the pros and cons of each candidate on personality, despite the fact that Trump has some annoying aspects in his personality, I still select Trump over Biden because I just don’t know who Biden is.
Another big consideration is the pandemic.
The whole world has been hit by thisunknown coronavirus with 189 countries being impacted significantly and stillon going.
Some blame Trump for the spreadof COVID-19. Examining the FACTS, I think Trump has done quite a job, within the constraint of the power vested in the federal government.
We should all focus on FACTS.
Trump led the nation to fightthe virus within the confine of the federal power.
He closed border in January withChina and then in March of the boarder with Europe. Many, including Biden, made fun of Trump atthat time.
Relying initially on the CDC testing protocol set by Obama/Biden, the Trump administration quickly recognized that the Obama/Biden CDC’s testing protocol did not work and re-vamped the system at a rapid speed.
Left with an empty stock pile by the Obama/Biden administration, the country in early stage of the pandemic lacked PPE. Trump mobilized the private sector to develop testing, as we all knew, 7 generations of technology in 3 weeks at record speed.
Trump invoked the Defense Production Act to produce PPE and shipped to all in need at a record speed. Not a single patient died without the medical supplies needed.
In a short time, Trump created a big stock pile and quickly started to support other nations as well.
The effort of developing effective therapeutics was also impressive and multiple vaccines are also being developed at a unprecedented speed.
Trump also started to work on supply chain issue during the pandemic.
The BLM and the subsequent protests had destroyed the properties and lives of many. Trump was strong on law & order.
Trump tried HCQ for the peoplein this country. He never stopped working and in fact worked tirelessly during the pandemic. When he contracted the virus, Trump tried different trial medicine himself, which is very courageous.
What about Biden?
He hid most of the time during the pandemic. When the nation faces withthe crisis, Biden exhibited no leadership, no action, no constructive suggestion of any sorts. The only thing Biden did during the pandemic is to politicize the pandemic against hardworking Trump and the task force, still trying to gain personally by leveraging the pandemic.
Looking at the track record ofBiden on his handling of H1N1 pandemic. He did a terrible job on H1N1 virus and 70 million Americans were infected. It was chaotic with a non-functional CDC protocol, no testing developed, and still has no clue on what happened. The only lucky thing to Biden is that the death rate of H1N1 was extremely low.
Experienced with H1N1, Biden still left an empty stock pile, which initially caused problems during COVID-19 pandemic.
Knowing the serious issue of supply chain impacting national security, Obama/Biden did nothing to addressit. Recently Biden again plagiarized again of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on “rebuilding after the pandemic.”
Journal Economics reported:
If Obama and Biden were in the White House during the COVID-19 pandemic, they would not have closed the borderon January 31, 2020. The democrats were against closing the border with China in January. Since the U.S. is a federated system, there is limited and enumerated powers for the federal government, while most authority is vested in the states, such as managing transportation, hospitals, and police. Even in March of 2020, some Democrat-controlled states were still against Trump’s testing strategy. Those are the very states that were negatively impacted by the coronavirus the most. The deaths in Democratic controlled states are 2.48 to 5 times that in Republican controlled states.
Frankly, given Biden’s past performance and sluggish energy, and lack of leadership, he will not be able tohandle the ongoing pandemic if he is elected. His handling of H1N1 pandemic speaks for itself.
Biden recently proposed his strategy on how to handle the pandemic if he is elected – ironically, what heproposed is exactly what President Trump and his task force have already done.
Perhaps another plagiarism?
This pandemic has been so politicized by the democrats, the left media, and Biden at the expense of PEOPLE or US.
Trump was blamed not to force people to stay home and wear masks. Under the constitution, he does not have that power. Even if Trump forced to do that, it can beassured that he would be attacked. It did not matter what he does, the left’s goal is to attack Trump personally. I am completely shocked that this is happening here just like a communist country – when you cannot compete with someone, you ruin him/her.
Given what is going on in theworld on COVID-19 and up and downs even in the countries that are considered have done a good job, knowing what Trump did, it is not fair to blameTrump. No doubt that the pandemic is so heavily leveraged for political gain.
I believe that history will eventually judge fairly on what happened in 2020 and Trump achieved tremendously during the pandemic.
So, even on the note of the pandemic, I will still select Trump.
The last point is on law andorder. The ultimate social in justice is the harm to the innocent when the violent rioting protesters looted our citiesand towns and killed people.
Trump took a strong position on law and order and stands by the law enforcement and the people who need protection.
Despite the strong position Trump takes as the president of the federal government, his power is limited by the Constitution.
Without a state requests the federal government to step in, the federal government is prevented from entering into the state to help to stop the violence. We all see the result – some democratic controlled states and cities are still raped by violence.
These local democratic governments are leveraging the violence: make the situation worse so that theycan take advantage of it politically at the expense of the people they are supposed to protect. It is truly unbelievable.
After careful consideration of all the points discussed, the choice cannot be more clear.
I will vote for President Trumpfor 4 more years.
I decide to share my thought process with whoever will listen, hoping to encourage all to make their decisions based on FACTS, instead of relying on the manipulated headlines them ain-stream media throw at voters.
Thank you for listening!
