Dear Tom,

How is everything going with you? On hearing that you will pave your way for learning Chinese in China, I have an irresistible impulse to write you a letter to recommend Hebei University of Engineering, which is one of the key universities in Hebei Province.

The reasons why I recommend this university can be listed as follows. First of all, Handan, where our university is located, is considered one of China's historical cities. It lays the groundwork for Chinese learners to soak up a treasure bank of Chinese idioms and allusions in order to savour the beauty of Chinese culture. Therefore, this university creates a charming atmosphere that provides beautiful campus environment and advanced teaching facilities. Our new campus covers a total area of 4,098 acres, with excellent school running conditions and a beautiful campus environment. It has advanced equipped teaching, research laboratories, a college student innovation, entrepreneurship park, college student activity center, academic exchange center and stadium. More importantly, there is the major Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages in which you can find knowledgeable professors who teach you standard Mandarin.

 I truly hope that you can seriously take my advice into account. If you were to come to our university, we would welcome and make you feel warm.
