During the subsequent three years, the Gallery has organized several solo exhibitions for represented domestic and international artists Eric Baudart, Chou Yu-Cheng, Samson Young, Wang Wei, Nuri Kuzucan, Zheng Zhou, He Yida, Wang Zhibo and Tromarama. In addition, the Gallery has held multiple group exhibitions from different observational perspectives and curatorial narratives, including: “Muse for a Mimeticist”(Wang Wei, Ko Sin Tung), “Nature Gone Astray”(Liu Xinyi, Zheng Bo, Miljohn Ruperto, Ulrik Heltoft), “Sans Soleil" (Cui Xinming, Sun Xun, Wang Zhibo, Yuan Yuan, Zheng Zhou), “Healthier, Simpler, Wiser.” (Hu Xiangqian, Kwan Sheung Chi, Lai Chih-Sheng). In 2018, Edouard Malingue Gallery, as the initiator and organizer, brought the gallery-share model “Condo” to Shanghai. For two consecutive years, Edouard Malingue Gallery has led Shanghai local galleries to offer space and share resources with more than 20 international galleries from around the world. The “Condo” project is now run throughout Shanghai, across West Bund Shanghai, M50 Art District, and other downtown locations. During these eventful times, the Gallery has begun to reorganize its resources in preparation for embracing the new future. As a result, Edouard Malingue Gallery will temporarily close its space at West Bund, Shanghai from April 1, 2020. During the period of temporary closure, the gallery will continue to spare no effort in promoting the artists‘ projects and exhibitions, and establish online exhibitions and an innovative sales platform. We look forward to reopening the new Edouard Malingue Gallery Shanghai space in the near future, but in the meantime please stay tuned and follow the Gallery’s Weibo and WeChat accounts where Gallery news will be regularly updated.
