We are what we eat.人如其食,即我们吃的食物会影响我们的健康.每次小聚,都会感叹于薏雯老师和秋惠老师焕发的面容,以及她们无限的活力.植物的力量不容小觑,但很多人不知道其实营养都是搭配出来的.这次的工作坊除了能分享全植物全食的搭配技巧之余,还能使大家在食物的抉择上有更深层次的思考~

As we welcome the New Year of the Ox and reflect on the challenges and lessons from 2020, many of us come to a clear realization: there is nothing more precious than our health and well-being. YOUR HEALTH is the canvas of your life. Without it, the colors of your achievements could never shine!

 

Food, as the fuel for our body, lays the foundation for our overall health. What you eat can be medicine or poison. Clean and wholesome foods can offer nourishment and healing, while other foods may trigger chronic health conditions. 

 

This New Year, give yourself and your loved ones the ‘Gift of Health’ — brought to you by Plant Forward Whole Foods Chef Educator Yi-Wen and US Registered Dietitian,  Whole Food Plant Based Nutritionist and Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner Sharon. They will take you on a journey of discovery regarding some keys to good health and how to achieve them with the least amount of effort. This unique series of six workshops addresses health topics that relate closely to our everyday life, and will empower you to re-define your health and unveil your beauty from within.

“重新定义健康”系列由六个主题工作坊组成。2小时的工作坊将丰富你对每个课题的基本营养知识,并提供如何在日常生活中应用这些新知识的实用技巧。


每个工作坊中,两位导师会亲自烹饪示范,教会你如何烹饪两道植物性的美食,方便你此后可以自己创作,并与你的家人朋友分享、或在你的孩子生命中埋下健康饮食的种子。


The “Re-define Your Health” series is composed of six workshops with intriguing subjects.


The 2-hour workshops will enrich you with an essential nutritional unde-rstanding of each subject, and give you practical tips on how to apply the new learnings in your daily life. In each workshop, there will be cooking demonstrations, and you will learn how to prepare two plant-based dishes, which you can later create and share with your loved ones or plant the seeds in your children.

薏雯是一位植本食疗导师,是SDG2 组织"厨师宣言"倡议的会员,也是许多全球食品教育计划的主要发起人。她是一个世界公民,曾在纽约和中国拥有 17 年的时尚营销经验,并在 2012 年开始向植物性食品教育领域发展,在多个国家和地区授课。她也是The Plant Forward LLAB 团队的联合创始人,提倡通过食物的桥梁来教育、实行协作和行动,一起开拓可持续性的人类与地球健康体系。薏雯和The Plant Forward LLAB 团队的意愿是与厨师好友、志同道合的朋友们一起推广植本食疗、探索中国植物性食材的多样性,以及开拓更多食物可持续行动的领域。

Yi-Wen is a Plant Forward Whole Foods Chef Educator, a noted member of ‘THE CHEFS’ MANIFESTO’initiative by SDG2 Advocacy and also a key initiator for many global food education programs. She is a world citizen with 17 years of fashion marketing experience in New York and China who started a transition to the world of whole foods education since 2012. She is also a co-founder of The Plant Forward LLAB with the mission to educate, collaborate and initiate real actions and positive changes using food as a social lubricant for a sustainable human health and planetary well-being system. Yi-Wen & The Plant Forward LLAB team are inspired to learn and work together with chefs and friends to explore on the food diversity in China and initiate more sustainable plant-based food journeys for healthier people and a healthier planet.

秋惠·Sharon

 

秋惠是美国及国际生活方式医学会认证专家,美国注册营养师,拥有十二年营养学预防医学经验,现居上海生活。秋惠是香港营养师协会正式会员,持有美国加州大学柏克莱营养科学及膳食治疗学士、美国马里兰州(MUIH)营养及整体健康硕士。秋惠是少数注册的全食物植物性营养师之一,更是《素食内外美》作者。


Sharon Chan is a Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional, US Registered Dietitian with 12 years of experience in nutrition, who currently resides in Shanghai.


Sharon received her Master of Science in Nutrition & Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health and Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences - Dietetics from the University of California at Berkeley. 


Sharon is one of the few whole-food plant-based dietitians. She is the author of “Beauty Inside Out”, which focuses on whole-food plant-based nutrition, lifestyle and recipes.
