《花儿为什么这样红》（Why the flowers are so red）是1963年的电影《冰山上的来客》中的一首插曲，是塔吉克民歌改编而来。这里是由瑞典歌星索菲娅·格林（Sofia Kallgren）演唱的英文版，选自她2006年出版的专辑《东方西方2民歌新语》。
索菲娅·格林第一位录制经典中文歌曲英文版专辑的西方歌手。她唱改编的中文歌曲，配合了原曲的发音，注重压韵填词，所以让中国歌迷感觉更有亲切感。《东方西方2：民歌新语》是她的第二张中文歌曲翻唱专辑，发行于2006年，是继第一张专辑《东方西方》受到了我国乐迷的热捧、销量狂飙之后出经典民歌英文版。
