面试好比和HR的一场约会,可是约会时候怎么让HR确定 You're the right person 呢?今天,给大家关于Competency base interview (基本能力面试)的技巧,让你成功撩到HR。


一般来说,HR在面试中常会问到:

tell me a time...

Tell me a time when you influenced others, or group of or an individual and what was the result of that?

give me an example

Give me an example of a situation when you demonstrated leadership?



describe a time

Describe a time when you collaboratede with other team members?


这些都属于Competency base interview,考官根据公司、部门及具体职位来定位一系列相关能力及抽象潜在考核,然后用具体面试问题来考察求职者


例如,Morgan Stanley考察的核心能力有以下几点:

  • Team building

  • Communication skills

  • Pro-activeness

  • Assertiveness

  • Leadership skills


遇到这样的问题,我的建议是用结构性思维去回答,大家可以按照:

这样的次序回答


Example


Question:Tell me a time when you faced difficulty when leading a team and how did you overcome it?

1Introduction

When I managed my quantitative research project for XXX, I was responsible for leading and managing XXX

Problem

The project timeframe was during the busy exam period so a few of my team members were not very engaged and had delays in summitting their work on time...

Action

As the project leader, I took the initiative to consult with them and to discuss ways of improving their enthusiasm and productivity...

Result

Everyone was reengaged and I led the team to deliver the project sucessfully



这样的回答不仅思维清晰,逻辑严谨,HR心目中,你自然也是那个人选。
