How to get the Green Card easily: Marry a Chinese Girl?

As China has developed so fast, many foreigners came to China and fall in love with this country. More and more foreigners want to get the Chinese green card, but China plays very straight on this. There is very limited quota every year. Last year, in 2016 only 1576 foreigners successfully applied for the Chinese green card. It seems to be a very low rate. However, the government is relaxing on this system. In 2004 to 2011, the government only granted 4752 green cards in this 7 years. In other countries, they granted at least 100,000-200,000 every year. Chinese green card is the world’s most difficult green card to take.

What’s the advantage of getting the green card?

Identification Feature

Permanent foreign residents can use the new green card as a proof of identity to conduct residency services in sectors of finance, education, medical care, transportation, telecommunication, employment, tax, social insurance, property registration, litigations, and other services where an ID is requested at the counter.

Entry and Exit

With a passport and Chinese green card, entry and exit can now be made through China’s customs without a separate re-entry visa. The new green card saves time and expense needed for getting a re-entry visa.

Employment

With the Chinese green card, holders are able work in China without applying for a separate work permit. Green card holders are also allowed to participate in construction projects, and science research projects that are associated with high-level of security clearance, as long as it is approved by related governing bodies. They are also eligible for government awards in fields of natural science and technology innovation.

Housing

With a green card, holders can buy commercial housing for personal use in compliance with the local regulations, enroll in the housing provident fund, and withdraw or transfer the housing provident fund when leaving the work place.

Investment

Green card holders enjoy the same investment advantages as other foreigners in China. They can establish or acquire companies via technology or capital investment.

How to apply for a green card?

Application conditions:

1. You are eligible permanent residence in China

2. You should be marry for at least 5 years

3. You should be live in China for 5 years for at least 9months every year

4. Stable income and residence

5. None criminal record

Submit documents to get proved

All the documents will be viewed by the Exit & Entry Department and send it to the China Embassy in your home country. After receiving the documents you will be ask to go back to your own country to check your identity and the authenticity of the documents.

Require Documents:

1. Marriage certificate and notarized proof of marriage

2. Spouse’s Chinese identity card and household register

3. Notarized the proof file of leasing and the title deed(original copy needed)

4. Notarized the proof of deposit-At least 100,000 RMB in the bank( The government will ask you to open a bank account and save a certain amount of money in it for at least 6 months. Only until you get the green card then you can withdraw the money. The government stated that it only takes six months. As the previous results, it takes OVER TWO YEARS to get the green card.)

5. Proof of none criminal record aboard by Chinese embassies and consulates in the country(within 6 months)

6. Health Report

7. Valid passport and visa in this 5 years

8. Foreign employment certificate or expert certification

9. Proof of income statement

10. Personal tax in this 3 years

11. Two 2 inches photo, blue background

12. Husband and wife personal resume

Noted

1. The certificates issued by the foreign authorities shall be certified by the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in the country.

2. All foreign language documents need a qualified translated company translate into Chinese.

3. The documents are only valid within 6 months
