Position Overview

Front desk agents are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has adirect impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires. Responsibilities Included but not limited to

As a front desk agent you need to greetall guests at all times in a friendly and helpful manner and attempts to learn and use guest’s name at every opportunity. At the meanwhile, you need to assist the whole department and be familiar with your work process.

Responds in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services. Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns.

  • Register guests and assigns rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.

  • Assists in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations.

  • Thoroughly understand and adheres to propercredit, check- cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures.

  • Understands room status and room status tracking.

  • Knows room locations, types of roomsavailable, and room rates.

  • Must be sales-minded. Presents options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choices.

  • Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.

  • Knows the location and types of available rooms as well as the activities and services of the property.

  • Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notification housekeeping of all checkouts, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms.

  • Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department. Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary. Knows cancellation procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

l Candidates from Japan, Female, aged 22-30l Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent, majored in Hospitality&TourissmdesiredLanguage Level: Japanese-Native; English-Good; Chinese-Good. You should be able to read and write English, Chinese and Japanese. Must speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
l  Working experience: 1-year experience or more in hotel-related guest / customer service, an equivalent combination of education and experience.l  Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Front Office System, materials and Standard office equipment including but not limited to:telephone, copier, cash register, PC, fax machine, and PBX machine.
Personal & Interpersonal Skills: You’re required to have communication skills which are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.

Position Overview

l Full-time Guest Relation officer wanted

l Report to: Front office Manager

l 40 working hours/week, 8 working hours/day:7am-3:30pm/3pm-11:30pm

Responsibilities Included but not limited to

  • Assist Guest Service Manager and Room Controller in ensure room allocation is accordance to guest’s  preference. Supervise front desk associates to ensure that they are adhering to all hotel policies, procedures, regulations and standards, while striving towards driving total guest satisfaction by ensuring smooth check in and check out of all guests. To provide personalize service to guest during their stay in the hotel.
