Job description:
We are currently seeking qualified subject teachers as our full time Lead Middle School or high school history / social studies / geography teacher. This position is responsible for educating secondary and post-secondary students with academic lessons in social studies, historiography, human history and current events, typically with a concentration on the world.

They help prepare pupils for life after school by fostering critical thinking, problem-solving and an awareness of how historical events have shaped today’s social climate. Additionally, this teacher will inculcate educational, behavioral, emotional and social skills in students for their overall development into capable, responsible, and mature individuals, as well as Leading students to participate various school activities (e.g. afterschool clubs, arts festival, field day and hosting monthly school assembly). He/she must also communicate well with the parents of their students, especially regarding any potential social or behavioral concerns they may have.

Job Responsibilities
· Plan and deliver lessons on the history of the world for the day, week, semester and year to students, utilizing creative and engaging techniques
· Prepare academic materials, including homework assignments, syllabi and instructional handouts; report to the department chair monthly regarding the effectiveness of concepts
· Facilitate classroom discussions and encourage the participation of all students, incorporating relevant reading and current events
· Grade papers, tests and homework, monitoring progress and adapting lesson plans to meet students’ needs
· Uploading lesson plans and unit planning on Gradelink

Full Time / Experienced 3rd grade to 5th grade Homeroom

We are currently seeking a qualified elementary school teacher for the full time position of homeroom teacher in our upper elementary school (3rd grade to 5th grade) Our upper elementary grade teacher will head one class of no more than 25 students. We expect homeroom teachers to be equipped with the capability to teach the following subjects:
? General English
? English reading
? Mathematics
? General Science (a daily session) as well as covering topics on health once in a week.
? Social studies
? At least one afterschool curriculum activity or afterschool tutoring within the teaching capacities of 25 hours per week

Working hours are approximately as follows:
1. 5 classes maximum per day / 25 hours per week
2. Teaching hours from 8:00 to 16:30
3. Office hours from 7:30am to 16:30
4. Monday to Friday

Educational background preferably required for this position:
1. Holder of Bachelor Degree or above, with Teacher Certification or Degree in Education (preferred, but not necessary)
2. Holder of teaching qualifications/licenses essential for K-6 in your home country (e.g. PGCE, US states teaching certifications)
3. American, British or Canadian (i.e. Native English speakers) would be considered more desirable
4. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
5. Contract duration: Starting from one year minimum, and more desirable if you have plans to consider settling in China for two or more years
