Position Information

We seeks an exceptional, well-qualified and experienced teacher of English with Drama to join an existing department in the development of our Secondary School Drama curriculum.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a dynamic and creative approach to teaching, have experience of teaching drama, and have the necessary skills and vision to enhance teaching and learning within the department.

Candidates should also illustrate a capacity to help students achieve their absolute best as part of a team and a willingness to contribute to the thriving extra-curricular life of our school.

Qualifications&Requirments

We are seeking a professional who:

1. Has a knowledge of relevant aspects of English National Curriculum. Is UK-trained or has relevant UK curriculum experience.

2. First degree to at least Bachelor level

3. Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, especially teaching experience in Primary, EYFS, Drama (to IGCSE) and Math (ability to teach A-level)

4. Has QTS/PGCE/PDGE or equivalent teaching certificate

5. Enhanced DBS disclosure / background check

6. Enjoys a professionally-stimulating environment.

7. Promotes a well-organized and inspiring learning environment.

8. Offers enthusiasm and demonstrates a positive approach to students.

9. Is comfortable integrating technology into all teaching practices.

10. Is committed to constant improvement in all aspects of school life.

11. Is reflective and continually strives to improve performance.

12. Understands the value of consistent application of school policies.
