About Us
Australian International School-Changzhou was established in 2020 by Western Australian Education Group(WAEG), Which is an Australian owned and operated company. WAEG has been granted permission by Tertiary Institutions ServiceCenter (TISC) to offer western Australian Universities Foundation Program(WAUFP) courses to students in China. Currently, we are looking for experienced English teachers to commence teaching in Jintan District, Changzhou in Aug, 2020.
The
students study WAUFP course in Year 12 to give them direct entrance
into leading Australian and international universities. Students will
have had 6 months of intensive English course to build their existing
English Language competence prior to being taught and assessed in Year
11 and Year 12 in thesame way as WA students as they follow the same WA
curriculum. All courses will be delivered in English and only students
with sufficient language skills will be enrolled.

Qualifications & Requirements
Successful applicants for this job will be supported to apply for their visa and will have access to staff to assist establishment in Changzhou. There is potential for career advancement, especially for staff who commit for the longer term.
Applicants who have minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in ESL and EALD in WA high schools are preferred. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Bachelor Degree (Master in Education and TESOL preferred)
Teaching certificate (CELTA/TEFL/TESOL etc.)
2 years teaching experience in ESL/EALD
Working with Children Check
National Police Clearance.

Responsibilities, Salary& Benefits
Applicants
are required to teach 22 hours per week to attract the following
remuneration package—a package that is very competitive compared to
other international programs in China and very attractive in light of
the very low living costs in Changzhou:
After tax salaries: RMB 15,000-25,000 per month, negotiable.
Accommodation allowance of RMB 2500 per month.
Medical insurance
7 weeks paid holidays/year
Return flight after one year of employment
