About us

Our school, located in Ningbo, is an international bilingual school with elementary and secondary education. We have been Cooperating with Barstow school in curriculum and teaching, which ranks in the top 10 in the United States, with a history of 130 years. we are proud to have partnership with the Barstow School allowing student and teacher exchanges as well as academic collaboration. The Barstow School assigns prominent foreign teachers and provides academic resources.

As the result of implementation of small class setting, we have a low student-to-teacher ratio. Each class has one Chinese teacher, one foreign teacher and one TA. Within the classroom, we promote both individual and collaborative learning through designing particular arrangements of desks—either in interactive groups or in small groups. Our School has controlled the class size as the maximum of 24 students, and focusing on students’ internationalization,informatization, diversification and high-quality development.

We follow the compulsory education project legislated by National Ministry of Education. We introduce some of the academic resources from The Barstow School, 40% of classes are taught in English by our foreign teachers. The international curriculum contains forest education. Every 15 graduates over the years have entered Harvard, Massachusetts, Stanford and other world-class universities.

We employ authoritative educationalists as school counselors and famous teaching experts as subject tutors. Chinese teachers are “the Most Promising Teachers” award winners who all have rich teaching experience. Foreign teachers are employed by Barstow School with rich teaching experience. Teaching assistants all hold English Bachelor or Master degrees with overseas education experience. There are 50 teachers in the school, including 8 foreign teachers, reaching ateacher-student ratio of 1:6. Chinese and foreign teachers get along harmoniously and make a common commitment: "Here, every child will get special care" and "No child behind". Now we are hiring full-time English teachers for our students of primary division.

Job Description

1.  Working time: Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday off; 40 minutes/class; 40 hours/week( 25 lesson times per week) including office time
2.  Student Grade: Grade1-Grade6
3.  Student's age:7-12 years old
4.  Class capacity: 24 students at most

1.   Monthly salary: 18k~22k rmb Pre tax (pay 12 months)
2.  Housing allowance or Free apartment in campus offered
3.  Flight allowance: 8000-12000rmb after one year contract
4.   Providing business insurance

6.  Winter and summer breaks both paid. Festival: the same to the Chinese staffs.

Requirements

3. 2 years or more teaching Experienc in kindergarten or nursery teaching. Be familiar with EYFS or IBPYP curriculum

4. Having certification on preschool education. Holding Teaching certificate (CELTA/TEFL/TESOL /PGCE)or teaching certificates in your own countries
   

Remuneration&Welfare package

1. Monthly Salary before tax: 20,000-30,000RMB, including house expense. We need to discuss it by face toface talk and evaluate your potential working ability and respect yourproposal) , the salary level we arrange is based on your working experience. wewould like to pay a higher range of salary, for example 25000 -30000 but therequirement is for experienced teachers with a higher level background, wewould talk more salary range.
   

2. Annual Holidays: Nationalholidays +Christmas holidays (10 days).We don’t have summer and winterholidays , we need to work during these two holidays, if you have specialarrangement for your holidays, you can discuss with us in advance.

3. Working Visa+Work Permit+Residence Permit: offered to NES teachers qualified to apply for them.Note: Candidates who are holding valid WP and can transfer it to ourkindergarten are preferred.
