Your Residence Permit to be Cancelled for These Reasons
We are not an agent or recuirter, but a headhunter !
On November 18, 2020, according to the Public Security Bureau of Jingmen City, Hubei Province, the Jingchu University of Technology applied to the local Exit-Entry Administration Bureau for the cancellation of the valid residence permits of two international students, one from Zimbabwe and the other from Liberia, which were to take effect within 10 days.
The Announcement Issued by the Official Account of Jingmen Public Security Bureau
Per
Jingmen police, these two students have been absent from campus since
October 25, 2020, in violation of school administrative regulations
during the pandemic. After numerous attempts to communicate with them
failed, the school decided to suspend their studies. Therefore,
according to the relevant provisions of Article 67 of the Exit and Entry
Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, their residence
permits should be declared invalid.
The relevant regulations - Article 67 of the law of the PRC on the Administration of Exit and Entry:
If a foreigner's residence permit belongs to any of the following circumstances, the issuing authority shall have the right to dispose of the permit accordingly.
If the exit-entry certificate is damaged, lost, stolen or robbed, or the holder is found not to meet the issuing conditions, the issuing authority can declare the certificate invalid;
Any of the forged, altered, defrauded or invalidated exit-entry certificates declared by the issuing authority shall all be invalid;
The Public Security Bureau can cancel or confiscate the exit-entry certificates specified in the preceding paragraph or used falsely by others.
In addition to the above case, earlier on November 5, Ningbo Public Security Bureau of Zhejiang Province also announced cancellation for the residence permit of a Russian woman which was supposed to be valid until July 31, 2021.
As
per the Ningbo Public Security Bureau, it was caused by the change of
residence purpose, as the lady neither reported it to the local
Exit-Entry Administration timely, nor declared it after her case being
announced by the public security department, which violated Article 34
of the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Foreign Exchange
Control and eventually led to revocation.
Per
the Ningbo Public Security Bureau, in such a situation, people shall
apply for cancellation of his/her residence permit to the original place
of issue within 10 days from the date of announcement, as residence
permit will expire within the time and holders will be considered
staying illegally if they don’t have other valid visa.
