外交公寓12号空间荣幸的宣布，艺术家郭鸿蔚个人项目《欢庆时间》将于8月26日下午3点开幕。展期至2019年10月10 号。郭鸿蔚的工作总善于显现隐藏在常态之下的诗意和幽默感。在此次项目中，郭鸿蔚基于作为既定事实的上一个项目的概念和布局——刘辛夷的“领馆办事处”——进行了“理所应当”的推演和重置。为了迎接国庆七十周年这样重要的节日，艺术家协同办事处的团队将外交公寓布置一新，并邀请了刚刚策划了一带一路双年展中国馆的著名策展人贝尔特·路在办事处里策划了精彩的同名艺术展《欢庆时间》。通过国家庆典这样的纪念碑时刻，郭鸿蔚在有悖日常的宏观价值中攫取藏身于正确中的调皮和荒诞，以此勾勒出当下时代强音中的幽默旋律。
郭鸿蔚，1982年生于中国四川，2004年毕业于中国四川美术学院，现生活和工作于北京。他的艺术实践主要侧重于绘画，拼贴及影像。2011年到2016年间，郭鸿蔚运营独立空间“分泌场”。艺术家近期的个人展览包括：“郭鸿蔚: 造型天” （前波画廊, 纽约, 2017）；“阿游小姐”（Frieze New York, 纽约，2014）；“郭鸿蔚：编辑”（LEO XU PROJECTS, 上海, 2013）。近期群展包括“比赛继续, 舞台留下”（广东时代美术馆,广州, 2019）；“默化 —— 古籍里的传统医学文化与当代生活、艺术的潜移”（四川省图书馆, 成都, 2019）；“惠比寿映像祭” （惠比寿花园广场, 东京, 日本（2016）；“我们这一代：中国年轻艺术家”,（橙县艺术博物馆, 新港滩, 加利福尼亚州, 2015 / 坦帕美术馆, 圣彼得斯堡，俄克拉何马城美术馆, 俄克拉何马城, 2014）；“精神：当代中国绘画”（米兰当代艺术馆, 米兰, 2015）；“ON ￨OFF：中国年轻艺术家的观念与实践”（尤伦斯当代艺术中心, 北京, 2013）；“重新发电－第九届上海双年展”（上海当代艺术博物馆, 上海, 2012）。
The DRC No.12 is pleased to announce the opening of Guo Hongwei’s solo project Happy Hours, which will be holden at 3 pm on Monday, 26 August 2019, and showing till 10 October. Guo Hongwei’s work excels at uncovering the poetry and humor beneath the norm. In this project, Guo Hongwei elaborates on Liu Xinyi’s “consulate office”, the previous project conceived for and staged in the DRC No. 12. Celebrating the upcoming 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, the artist along with the colleagues at the DRC No. 12 refurbished the space and invited the renowned curator Belt Lu for the China Pavilion at the One Belt One Road Biennial to organize an unparalleled exhibition with the same title Happy Hours. Upon the occasion of such monumental national celebration, Guo Hongwei derives mischief and satire from a serious and politically correct backdrop far removed from our daily life to illustrate humorous melody under the mainstream of our contemporary society. Guo Hongwei (b.1982 in Sichuan) graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2004 and currently lives and works in Beijing. His practice focus on painting, collage and video. From 2011 to 2016, he established independent art space “Gland”. The artist’s recent solo exhibitions include: Plastic Heaven(Chambers Fine Art, New York, 2017); Miss Oyu (Frieze New York, New York, 2014); Guo Hongwei: Editing(Leo Xu Projects, Shanghai, 2013).
