展览倒计时 | 胡伟《轻罪》

外交公寓12号空间荣幸的宣布，艺术家胡伟个人项目《轻罪》将于3月28日开展。
在外交公寓12号的空间内，胡伟继续地对“缺席”和“消音”的材料以及叙述进行探索。通过对上世纪冷战时期一桩“迷离”的、不愿被提及的政治犯罪（跨国恋情）的抽丝剥茧和虚构行为，艺术家邀请观众见证一段亲密关系的间离过程，并在作品重叠的情节中成为判断者和参与者。
展览对公共历史事件的调查转换成了“侦探痴迷的好奇心”、对罪犯的自恋式认同和恋物癖乐趣。其中涉及到的法律、秩序、越轨行为、丑闻和谎言也成为了对当下冲突的指涉。鉴于外交公寓私密和公共的双重属性，胡伟结合媒体、访谈以及影像资料将外交公寓12号转化为“电影场”和暗昧的“犯罪现场”。
展期至2022年6月28日。
胡伟，工作生活于北京，本科毕业于中央美术学院油画系，2016 年研究生毕业于 Dutch Art Institute (DAI)。他使用影像、装置、印刷图像、表演和绘画等多种媒介进行创作。他的兴趣常始于文本与视觉文化之间看似无关的元素，通过调研、转译和想象来探索艺术与现实关系在政治和形式上的多重的、可思辨的联系。结合动态影像和散文美学，他近期的实践游走在不同的地缘语境和“消音”的历史及材料中，调查个人、非人及物质在历史和自然改造过程中的能动性，分裂和人为的异化。
DRC No.12 is proud to announce Hu Wei's solo project Affairs will open on March 28.
In the space of DRC No.12, Hu Wei continues to explore the materials and narratives of "absence" and "silencing". Through the extraction and fictionalization of a disorienting and reluctantly mentioned political crime (transnational romance) from the last century's Cold War, the artist invites the viewer to witness the dissociation of an intimate relationship and to become a judge and participant in the overlapping episodes of the work.
The exhibition's investigation of public historical events is transformed into "detective-obsessed curiosity," narcissistic identification with criminals, and fetishistic pleasure. The law, transgressions, scandals and deceptions involved also become references to contemporary conflicts. In view of the private and public nature of the diplomatic apartment, Hu Wei combines media, interview and cinema materials to transform DRC No. 12 into a "cinematic site" and an obscure "crime scene".
The project will run until June 28, 2022.
Hu Wei, lives and works in Beijing, graduated from CAFA and obtained an MA at Dutch Art Institute (DAI) in NL in 2016. He works in a variety of media, including film making, installation, printed images, performance and drawing. His interest often begins with the seemingly unrelated elements between text and visual culture, exploring the multiple, speculative connections between art and reality in relation to both political and formal level through research, "translation" and imagination. Combined with moving image and essayistic aesthetics, his recent practice travels through different geo-contexts and "silencing" histories and materials, investigating the dynamics, fragmentation and synthetic alienation of human, non-human and material in the process of historical and natural transformation.
