"What is the most sacred scene I can imagine?
A Mahasiddha holding a Ghanta in his left hand,
And his right hand is holding the Vajra. "
——Buton Rinchen Drub (1290-1364)

Vajra and Bell Ring
The vajra and bell are two of the most important symbols of tantric buddhism, symbolising compassion or skilful means (vajra) and wisdom or shunyata (bell). Together they represent the mind of enlightenment, the absolute state of non-dual wisdom. Their presence in tantric art and ritual is ubiquitous. For example, the central figure of all tantric mandalas, Vajrasattva, is always depicted holding a vajra in his right hand and bell in his left hand.
The vajra and bell are essential prerequisites of a tantric practitioner, who takes a vow never to be separated from them. In ancient times, these ritual implements were kept a closely guarded secret by their owner, so as to preserve their blessings and spiritual power. Our unique design honours this sacred code by setting the vajra and bell on the inside of the ring, thereby keeping them safely hidden from outside view.
