He always keeps several cases of wine in store.

store sth. away/up 贮存；贮藏；保存

storage n. 储存；贮藏

8．break out 突然发生，爆发

Something unexpected always breaks out in this area.

在这一地区总有意想不到的事情发生。

break away (from) 突然离开；逃走；脱离

break down 失败；身体垮掉；瓦解；崩溃

break up 断绝某种关系；散开

break forth 突然发出，迸发

break in 闯入；破门而入

9．get down to 开始认真考虑；着手做某事

You must get down to your studies this year.

你今年要好好学习。

get down to中，to为介词，后跟动名词。

I think you would like to get down to work now.

我想现在你要认真着手工作。

10．go over

(1)察看；仔细检查；复习

He went over the article again.

他把文章从头至尾又读了一遍。

(2)反复研究；仔细琢磨

He went over the events of the day in his mind.

他心里反复琢磨白天发生的事。

(3)从一处到(另一处)

Go over and help him.

过去帮他一下。

(4)转向另一立场

They have gone over to the enemy.

他们投降于敌人。

go by 遵循某事；(时间)过去

go down 倒下；(水平、数量等)下降

go into 进入；参加(某一组织)；调查；研究

go off 离去，走掉；爆炸
