罗布·基钦（Rob Kitchin），地理学家、教授。先后获得兰开斯特大学（Lancaster University）理学学士学位（地理学）、莱斯特大学（Leicester University）理学硕士学位（GIS）、威尔士斯旺西大学（University of Wales Swansea）理学博士学位（地理学）。
他于1996年在贝尔法斯特女王大学（Queen's University Belfast）任职，1998年转至梅努斯大学。他目前是“数字城市”项目(由欧洲研究理事会资助)和“构建城市仪表板”项目(由爱尔兰科学基金会资助)的首席研究员;他曾是爱尔兰数字存储库(2009—2017)和全岛研究观测台(2005—2017)的首席研究员。
2002至2013年在ERC国家区域和空间分析研究所任高级研究员、主任，现就职于爱尔兰国立梅努斯大学MUSSI社会科学研究所。
他在社会科学领域发表了内容广泛的著作，包括28部署名或参与编写的图书、180多篇文章和书籍章节，并在会议和大学发表了230多篇应邀演讲。他是国际期刊《人文地理学对话》（Dialogues in Human Geography）的执行主编，并一直是《人文地理学进展》（Progress in Human Geography）和《社会与文化地理学》（Social and Cultural Geography）的编辑，曾是《国际人文地理学百科全书》（International Encyclopedia of Human Geography）第12卷的主编。
他曾于2013年获得爱尔兰皇家科学院(Royal Irish Academy)颁发的社会科学金奖，并于2018年获得梅努斯大学(Maynooth University)研究成就奖。由于在地理学科中出版了杰出的图书，他于2011年获美国地理学家协会颁发的“子午线图书奖”。此外，他还著有四部犯罪小说和两部短篇故事集。
