全息影像技术在医学教育中的应用

Presenter: We have partnerinhis institution. I can’t stop to thinking beyond the possible and to show us what have been up to. Please help me welcome on stage Professor Mark Griswold from Case WesternReserveUniversity and our team member Michael.

Presenter: Now Mark is part of the team from Case Western and Cleveland Clinics. We invited them to use windows holographic to advance medical education beyond what is possible and what todaythe state of art. Mark: Thanks, Alex! Today, we use a completion of cold armor, medical illustrations to teach students anatomy. Mark:谢谢主持人。目前学习解剖我们多使用骨架模型和医学图画来辅助教授。

This is the created film of hand-draftchanges over hundred years because it simply has been in another way. 影像展示的是一百多年来人体结构的手绘简化图像。

The mixed reality of hololenshas the potential to revolutionize the education by bring3D content into the real world. 基于混合现实技术的全息透镜通过3D成像将革新医学教育。

Then what the biggest challenge for students learning anatomy is understanding the bodyin threedimensionsand all the different systems fit together. 对学生来说学习解剖的最大挑战就是理解人体的三维结构和不同系统的相互作用。

Using holograms, we can easily separate and focus on individual systems. 利用全息影像,我们很容易就能理清复杂的系统结构,专注某个生理系统。

For example, we can focus on the femur. 让我们以股骨为例。Students can immediately see some types of fractures they may one day encounter in clinic. 学生能直观看到典型骨折类型,他们在今后的临床实践中可能就会遇到这些病例。

Now I can leverage all these new capabilities ormaintain the important connections with my students. 而我利用这项技术能保持课堂上与学生的互动。

When we both wear a hololens, I can see what they are looking at,what they are interacting with.当我们同时带上全息透镜,我能看到他们正在观察的实物,实现彼此交流。

I can assess their progress, and they can communicate with me and each other naturally.这样方便我掌控他们的学习进度,也能保持自然交流。

For example, I can see if Michael has a question in class or Gwyn has a question of learning.比如我能看到Michael或者Gwyn是否有学习上的问题。

Now obviously, thecoldarmordoes not move. This makes it difficult to see the way of living body actually works.很明显传统人体骨骼模型不能移动,很难解释人体的运作机制。

Hololensdoes not havethis limitations. 全息影像技术则没有这个限制。

Systems can be animated to easily see how things function. 影像模拟生理系统运作,生理功能一目了然。

Let’s take a look at the center of cardiovascular system, the heart, the amazing organ,reality spang the size of your fist.让我们看一下循环系统的中心,心脏这一神奇的器官,形同拳头大小。

With hololens, we can easily scale the heart.利用全息透镜,我们很容易详细测量心脏。

So letthe student to see my new details. 下面看得更详细一点。

We can even see inside the heart, to see the valves and action. 我们能看到心脏内部结构,瓣膜及其运动。

This is the new way of seeing things and it has the potential to help students understand structure and physiology of the body in a way that is just possible today.这是观察事物的新方法,帮助学生理解人体结构和生理的更好方法。

 Now we are just seeing the vision of how holograms could enhance one thing or subject. 刚刚我们仅仅看到了全息影像技术在某个事物上的应用。

But as educator, it’s easy for me to see that it is not just anatomy that can benefit from this technology, it could change everyone who learns.但是作为教育者,我觉得不仅解剖学习能从中收益,它还能改变今后的学习方式。

 Imagining for a moment, some other fields that could be changed. For example, chemistry and genetics, art, engineering and paleontology.试想一下在其他领域造成的变革,比如化学,基因学,艺术,工程学和古生物学。 

And the best part is we have to help find the future together.美好的未来需要我们共同创造。
