To Book Movie Tickets Like the Locals Do - Do It on Your Phone!

It's not that hard! Save this article for reference, use it everytime you need to book movie tickets and once you master it, you'll be able to go to the movie theaters with no fear of tickets not being avaliable at the booth ot stuck with some bad seats.

We are going to use Dianping app again for this.

Step 1: Open Dianping, tap the movie icon.

Step 2: Check all "hit movies" that are showing now.

Step 3: Choose a movie and check its details. You can always scroll down to see people's rating and comment as well. Don't worry about the language, you can make a screenshot and send it to Ringy to ask for the meaning if you want. When you decide on one, tap"pick seats and purchase tickets" to continue.

Step 4: Have the theaters sorted by one of the three options. Recommand sort by distance.

Step 5: Choose a cinema/ theater.

Step 6: You can tap "Address" to check the map for directions, check different dates and times, then tap "Purchase" to continue.

Step 7: Double check date & time. 

Make sure the phone number is correct so you can receive the ticket code after. Tap the chairs to pick your seats and submit the order.

Step 8: Check all the key info, tap "confirm and pay".

Step 9: The phone number you provide will receive a text message with the movie tickets code. 

Step 10: Go to the movie theater, find these machines in the hall.

Tap the icon of get tickets.

1. Make sure you are on the "Get tickets with verification code" option;

2. Put in the code you receive;

3. Enter.

Your tickets' information will be shown again and just tap confirm one last time!
