专题论文集《Tropical and sub-tropical streams: Effects of anthropogenic disturbance on functional and taxonomic diversity》（人类活动对热带及亚热带河流功能多样性和分类多样性的影响）现已开放征稿，欢迎广大专家学者关注投稿。

We are seeking 10 manuscripts that demonstrate how human stressors and pressures alter functional or taxonomic diversity in macroinvertebrate, macrophyte, fish or algae assemblages - or biological processes such as respiration, photosynthesis, decomposition or production/ respiration rates - in tropical or sub-tropical streams. In addition, each manuscript should discuss the management and policy implications, and feature recommendations for protection and rehabilitation of the streams.
We are particularly interested in papers that compare biological responses in tropical and sub-tropical streams with temperate or alpine and arctic streams – either within the study results or by citing appropriate literature. Our goal is to feature papers from Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas, and to represent many types of tropical and sub-tropical streams (e.g., xeric, savanna, rain forest).
