Notice on Adjusting the Requirements of PCR Tests
According to the latest development of Covid-19, from June 30, 2022, new adjustment will be conducted to pre-departure testing and self-quarantine time required for obtaining the green health code or a certified health declaration. The adjustments are as follows:
1. Testing requirements
(1) All passengers going to China by flight should undergo a "double nucleic acid" test within 48 hours before boarding, and the last nucleic acid test needs to be completed within 24 hours before boarding.
(2) In principle, the two tests should be conducted in different testing institutions, with an interval of more than 24 hours between two samples.
(3) Passengers can either conduct testing at the testing institutions recommended by our embassy (please see attachment), or choose other qualified testing institutions in Croatia, but they need to provide qualification certificate of the institution.
(4) Passengers who are to fly from Croatia to China will be required to apply for a green health code(with the "HS" Mark) or a certified health declaration form (with the "HDC" Mark)before boarding the flights, both in their country of departure and in the transit country.
2. Flight regulations
(1) Restrictions on routes to China and the number of transfers are canceled.
(2) For those who temporarily go abroad from China, if the itinerary involves multiple countries, the place where they directly fly back to China will be regarded as the country of departure.
3. Passengers who have a COVID-19 infection record
"Passengers Who Have a COVID-19 Infection Record" are allowed to apply for green health code according to Part 1 after they have recovered for more than 14 days. The EU Covid Certificate or other medical report needs to be submitted to prove their recovery date.
Those who can’t provide the EU Covid Certificate or other medical report should send certificates of two negative nucleic acid tests taken within three days and with minimum interval of 24 hours to pcrtest.hrv@gmail.com. After getting the Embassy’s confirmation, these passengers need to stay in isolation for 14 days and fill in Personal Health Monitoring Form(Please see attachment). After isolation, they can apply for HS/HDC Code according to Part 1.
Our embassy will dynamically adjust the health code application based on the epidemic situation. Passengers flying to China must continue to take precautions before travel, so as not to affect the itinerary due to a positive test before boarding.
If the previous testing requirements are inconsistent with this notice, this notice shall prevail.
