The trip fee includes:

Transportation: round trip bus tickets (bus tickets, toll rates, parking feeand driver’s payment included)
Accommodation: 1 nights in standard room & camp management fee

About Hiking level

Level 1： easy, maybe a bit hilly, but no very long climbs. Hikes are usually 5–8km long. It will take around 3 hours.
Level 2： Level 2 hikes will take around 3-4 hours, and can be either reasonably easy, or challenging, depending on how often you exercise.
Level 3： There may be long climbs up hills, and there may be steep sections. It will take around 5-7 hours
Level 4： Hikes will usually take 6-8 hours to complete, and will be difficult for people who are not used to hiking or are out of shape. Some level 4 hikes are shorter, but very steep.
Level 5： Hikes are physically challenging, and suitable for experienced hikers in good shape.
Level 6： Hikes are the most difficult hikes we do: long, with tough ascents and descents. They are physically challenging, and suitable for experienced hikers in good shape.

Full Itinerary

【Day1】Beijing-Baotou

18:00 Leaving beijing to inner mongoli. We will spend 12 hours (3 hours rest on the expressway service area), and we suppose to arrive Kubuqi desert at 9:00am 29/4/2017 if there is no traffic jam.

【Day2】 Baotourenjia -Longtouguai

Our first day will begin with the desert- crossing, during which we will go through many kinds of landforms. We will consume much strength, please pay attention to replenish nutrients and moisture. It will take approximate 6 hours to hike to the camp in Longtouguai.

Longtouguai locates in the middle part of Xiliugou, one of the branches of yellow river. This is a seasonal stream. In the rainy season, it is the jade belt inlayed in the Kubuqi desert.

(The distance of the whole hiking trip is approximate 12km)

At down, we can feel the ancient poet’s feeling which he expressed in his poem——‘A plume of smoke rises up into the evening sky of the Great Desert, while the Yellow River dimmed as the setting sun goes down.

In the evening, we will have a campfire party.

When night comes, we will enjoy the starry night.

【Day3】 Longtouguai -Sounding Sand Bay

7:30 We get up and break camp at 7:30, and then have breakfast;

8:00 We will leave at 7:30, take bus to the Sounding Sand Bay

10:00 have fun in desert ，take part in desert activities ：Fairy sand island，High altitude sliding cable，Desert surfingcar+Desert motorcycle+Roving vehicle，riding camel，sliding sand et.

12:00 have lunch,pls prepare snacks and water by youself ,And then we have free time to take pics.

15:00 leaving for Baotou

17:00 check in hotel

19:00 The celebration dinner

【Day4】Get up early and leave for Beijing after breakfast.
