Statement about the Trip Fee

The trip fee includes:

Round traveling bus fee
3 days outdoor insurance premium.
Two night in hotel: 2 people share one room; independent washroom in the room.
2 Breakfasts : Chinese traditional breakfast
cultural exchange night party includes snacks and drinking

The trip fee does not include:

Meals: there is no fixed food plan in this program, fancy or simple, it's up to you.
The trip fee doesn't include entrance tickets of all scenic spots, which is 100RMB for the Shaolin Temple ,Round cable car: 60 RMB. 50RMB for Baima Temple，100RMB for Longmen Grottoes ( Half price for student.).

Note: the price of entrance tickets mentioned above are of the last year, the price might be changed this year due to the peak season timing. Our trip leader will try our best to help us get the discount tickets. Do not forget to bring your students books in case they give student prices.

Full Itinerary

【Day1】BLCU - Dengfeng city

7:00am – Leave south gate of BLCU for Dengfeng city

17:00pm – Arrival at Dengfeng city, then hotel check in

19:00pm – Break for dinner

21:00pm – Our volunteer will organize some indoor games

【Day2】Shaolin Temple - Baima Temple-Luoyang Old Street

08:00am Do hotel check out after breakfast, then head to【Shaolin Temple】.

8:40am Visiting Shaolin Temple

13:40pm leaving Shaolin Temple for Baima Temple ，It will take us 1.5 hours on the way.

15:00pm Visiting Baima Temple

17:00pm do hotel check in. visiting【Luoyang Old Street】.Then hanging out with your leader and taste the local dishes.

21:00pm Cultural Exchange Trip Party . We will prepare beers and snacks for you. What you need to do is to prepare something about the cultures of your country and China.

【Day3】 Longmen Grottoes-BLCU

08:00am Do hotel check out after breakfast, then head to【Longmen Grottoes】. It will take us 40 minutes on the way.

09:00am Arrival in Longmen Grottoes. Visiting there for 3 hours.

12:00pm Back to Beijing.

21:00pm Arrival at Beijing. (if no traffic jam)

The schedule may have some change due to the speed of our movement.

Notes

(1) Food: We would take most of our meals at local restaurants where we are visiting. Please take some snacks during the trip as we will spend a lot of time on bus. Bring enough cash because ATM is not available everywhere at local attractions.

(2) Things to bring: Passport; Student card or book; cash; Waterproof jacket and trousers;Warm clothes in case it gets chilly Sturdy shoes, hiking boots if possible; Camera and charger, batteries; Mobile phone, charger; Hayfever medication; Tissues and wipes.

Shaolin Temple

Shaolin Kungfu refers to the traditional cultural system that has formed in the particular Buddhist cultural environment in Shaolin Temple of Songshan Mountain over long history. The martial arts practiced by monks in the Shaolin Temple are its major form of expression.

According to historical records, Shaolin Kungfu is the one school among a myriad of Chinese martial arts schools. There are as many as several hundred series of Shaolin Kungfu skills of which several dozen are widely known and practiced.

There are 72 unique sets of skills and all kinds of special bodies of Kungfu techniques such as Qi Gong, grappling, wrestling, disjointing etc. This wide body of skills and knowledge constitutes a huge and orderly technical system organized according to special categories and levels of difficulty.
