Statement about the Trip Fee

The trip fee includes:

• 4 days travling bus in chengdu and jiuzhaigou

•  6 days outdoor insurance premium.

• 3 nights in hotel ( 3 stars hotel ): 2 people share one room; independent washroom in the room.

• 3 breakfast

The trip fee does not include:

• Entrance tickets: Temple of Marquis Wu is 60 RMB (half price for students); Jiuzhaigou Valley is 220 RMB (half price for students) and 90 RMB for sightseeing bus. Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding& Research Base is 58 RMB  (half price for students).

• Train tickets: the details about train information are shown as below. please get it ASAP, which might be not available soon if you want a sleeping seat instead of a sitting or a standing seat.

• Meals: except breakfast, you need to take your own dinners, fancy or simply, it is up to you.

• Notes: Please take your student book for this trip. Master and PHD don't work. Our leader will try to get discount entrance tickets for the group.

Full Itinerary

【Mar 2nd】Beijing – Chengdu

Take your train from Beijing to Chengdu, K817  are highly recommended. Please prepare enough food and some card games as it will take us more than 20 hours on the train.

【Mar 3rd】Temple of Marquis Wu - JinLi Street

12:40pm   Meeting at Chengdu railway station, then head to hotel which is not very far away

13:00pm   Hotel check in and have a little break

14:00pm   Head to the【Temple of Marquis Wu】, which is much associated with the kingdom of Shu. It is the place to commemorate Zhu Geliang, Prime Minister of the kingdom. Wuhou was a top official title conferred upon Zhu Geliang after his death.

After visiting the Temple of Marquis Wu, we will visit【Kuan and Zhai Street】and【JinLi Street】, taking local snacks and watching craftsman clay figurines. And, there is a Bar Street at Jiuyan Bridge~

【Mar 4th】Panda Base - JiuZhaiGou Valley

07:00am   Having breakfast at hotel, then hotel check out

07:30am   Head to Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding& Research Base, playing with those lovely pandas for 5 hours

13:30pm   Head to【JiuZhaiGou Valley】, it will take us about 7 hours on the way.

17:00pm   We will stop at 【Diexi Lake】for sometime on the way for around 40 minutes.

21:00pm   Arrival in JiuZhaiGou Valley, and hotel check in

【Mar 5th】JiuZhaiGou Valley

07:20am   Having breakfast at hotel

08:00am   Head to【JiuZhaiGou Valley】scenic spot. It becomes a world renowned scenic spot because of its diversity in natural scenery which includes snowy peaks, double waterfalls, colorful forests and green sea. Furthermore, Tibetan customs are another attraction. It was listed as a world heritage site in 1992.

19:30pm   Back to hotel

【Mar 6th】Back to Chengdu railway station

07:20am   Having breakfast at hotel

08:00am   Hotel check out

10:00am   Arrival at 【Songpan Ancient Town】, have a walk around the town and do our lunch.

11:30am   Leave from Songpan Ancient Town

17:00pm   Arrival in 【Chengdu railway station】, we will spend 25 hours on train, and we are supposed to arrive at Beijing at 21:00pm on Mar 7th

The schedule may have some change due to the speed of our movement.

Notes

• Food: We will take most of our meals at local restaurants where we are visiting, but you also need to take some cash and snacks with you, for there may be no ATM and shops in some scenic spots.

• Things to bring: Passport; Student book (student card doesnt work sometime); Cash; Waterproof jacket and trousers; Sturdy shoes; A day pack to take on outings. Suitcases or bigger bags can be left at the hotel or on the bus; Camera and charger, batteries; Mobile phone, charger; Hayfever and car sick medication; Tissues and wipes.
