Apr.5th-6th Beidaihe Island City | Sailing+Great Wall in the Sea

Beidaihe District is a popular beach resort and a district of the city of Qinhuangdao, Hebei province on China's Bohai Sea coast. It is also known as a birding haven(Apri is the best month to see the seabirds).

The Beidaihe Beach Resort stretches 10 km from east to west, from the Yinjiao Pavilion to the mouth of the Daihe river. The beach itself is covered with fine yellow sand stretching some 100 meters to the sea. The water is shallow.

English railway engineers were the first Europeans to discover the fishing village in the 1890s and it was not long before wealthy Chinese and foreign diplomats from Beijing and Tianjin made the village a popular destination.

Trip overview

Day One 
Gather at our meeting points and leave for beidaihe at 7:20am, it is 350Km away from beijing, about 4 hours we can arrive if we didnt meet trafic jams.

We are supposed to arrive at 12:00 , after we arrive we will have lunch together(included) , and then we will take boat to sail (included) about 40mins.

Around 15:00, we will have a free hike along the beach on the wooden bridge to see all kinds of seabirds flying above the beach,  it is about 8km and 2-3 hours we can finish. Our hiking trail will pass by forest, Pigeon Park(Ticket included) 、Beidaihe wetland、Ocean villas and so on.

After hike, we will have dinner together(included), and then check in the hotel (4 star hotel); about 21:00 we can start our CET party in the hotel, free talking with different travelers from all over the world, and also free beers and drinks.  

Day Two

Get up before 7:00am and then take breakfast(included), then we will head to QinghuangQiuxian Senic spot(Tickets included), it will cost 1 hour to visit this place, this place is the name of Qinghuan Island coming from.

About 10:00 we will visit Laolongtou Senic spot (Tickets included), this place is famous for its Great Wall heading in the sea, totally different styles from the wall you visited nearby Beijing.It also has some traditional building inside.

After this we will visit Shanhaiguang Ancient town（tickets included）,You can also go up and walk on the China Wall, it is around 50RMB(not included), It will be another experience from the wall in Xian.

After Lunch we will start to go back at 13:00, we are supposed to arrive at beijing 17:30.

Travel and hike times are approximate, and depend on traffic and the pace at which you hike.
