Unit 8 Is there a post office near here?  (七下)

Section A 1a-1c(第一课时) 

学习目标：

1．学会读写社区环境和设施相关的名称。

2．学习there be句型，学会问路和指路的基本句型 。

---Is there … ? --- Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.

重点难点: There be 句型及简单方位词的运用来描述地理位置。

课前热身：1.记住并翻译：

1.邮局___________ 2.警察_________3.旅馆___________ 4.餐馆_________  

5.医院____________  6.大街________ 7.付费电话__________ 8.在….附近

学习探究：there be 句型

肯定句： There be +名词+地点(事物) “某处有某物”

否定句： There be  not  +名词+地点(事物) “某处没有某物”

一般疑问句：Be there +名词+地点(事物)? “某处有某物吗？”

肯定回答: Yes, there is/are .     否定回答:No. there isn’t/aren’t.   

定义:There be 结构主要用以表达"某处有___________.

1.there be 结构中的谓语动词be在人称和数上应与其后的主语___________。

主语是不可数名词或单数可数名词时用______,是复数时用_____。  

There is a flower in the bottle.

There are many books in the bag. 

2.若句子中有几个并列的主语时,be要与离其_________的主语保持一致。

There is a boy, a girl and two women in the house.  

There are ten students and a teacher in the classroom.

3．there be的否定式通常在_______后加not构成。

There aren't any children in the park.

4. there be的一般疑问句是把be提到_______之前。 

其肯定答语是_____, there is / are;否定答语为No, there ______ / aren't.

 Is there any water in the bottle? Yes, there is.

5．对主语提问：当主语是人时，用 “Who’s + 介词短语?当主语是物时，用 “What’s + 介词短语?”。

(无论主语是单数还是复数，对其提问一般都用is)

There is a bird in the tree. →What’s in the tree?

    There are some bikes over there. →What’s over there?

There is a little girl in the room. →Who is in the room?

展示提炼：

A: Is there a restaurant on Bridge Street?   

B: Yes, there is.

A: Is there a Supermarket on Center Street?

B: No, there isn’t.

当堂训练：用be动词填空
