探究一 quite的用法

quite作为副词，意为“相当；完全”，常用于修饰形容词、副词和动词。
【拓展】quite与形容词连用修饰名词时, quite与 very 的位置不同：
1. quite+（a/an+）形容词+名词。
Beijing is quite an interesting city.
北京是个相当有趣的城市。
2. （a+） very+形容词+名词。
Beijing is a very interesting city.
北京是一个非常有趣的城市。

探究二 anything的用法
例句: Did you learn anything?

【探究点睛】
1. anything是不定代词，通常用于否定句或疑问句中, notanything=nothing。在肯定的陈述句中通常用 something。
2.形容词修饰anything时应置于其后。
Do you know anything else?
你还知道其他什么事？
3. anything作主语时，谓语动词用第三人称单数形式。
There isn’t anything interesting in to day’s newspaper.
今天的报纸上没有什么有趣的事。

探究三 疑问副词how的用法

1. how是疑问副词，意为“如何;怎样”，用来问做事的方式、方法，也可询问状况如何。

近来可好？
2.常见搭配how many多少（数量）; how much多少（数量，价格）; how long多久，多长（时间、距离）; how old多大（年龄）; how often多久一次（频率）。
3. how后跟形容词或副词组成感叹句。
How beautiful the girl is!
这姑娘真美！
How quickly he’s running!
他跑得真快！
