2.Listen and complete.

Teacher: Hello, Jenny! You look tired.

Nurse: Well, today was a busy day in my office. One boy ______________in P.E. class.

Teacher: What happened?

Nurse: He was running under the hot sun and then he ___________and fell down.

Teacher: Yes, the weather is very hot today.

Nurse: He cut his ______, so I washed the cut and put a ________ on it.

Teacher: Was the cut serious?

 Nurse: Not really, but I also__________________. Luckily he didn’t have a fever. I told him he __________.

Teacher: What else happened?

【知识点探究】

1.Someone felt sick. 有人感觉不舒服。

【解析】sick作形容词， 意为“生病的；有病的”。

sick leave意为“病假”。

sick既可放be (系动词)后作表语，也可放n.前作定语。

sick person = patient“病人”

She cares for her sick mother.她照顾她生病的母亲。

If you are unhappy, you'll easily get sick.

 【拓展延伸】sick还有“恶心；厌倦的”意思。

be sick of …“讨厌；厌恶……”

The smell makes people sick.这气味使人感到恶心.   

注意：sick和ill都有“生病的”的意思

 ill  adj.“生病的”，只能放be (系动词)后作表语。

be ill in hospital 生病住院，其名词形式是 illness “病；疾病”

She can't go to work because she is ill.她不能上班了,因为她病了。

She didn't go there because of illness.她因病没有去那里。

 2.get hit + on / in + the + 身体部位

观察句子：Someone got hit on the head. 有人头部受到了撞击。

【解析】(1) get hit + on / in + the + 身体部位 “某身体部位受到了撞击”

e.g. The police officer got hit on the shoulder. 这个警官的肩膀受到了撞击。

(2) hit “打击；击中”，

   hit + sb.  on / in + the + 身体部位

e.g. The bullet hit him on the back.  子弹击中了他的后背。
