feel like sth. /doing sth. 想要某事或想要做某事。

would like sth / to do sth.

want sth / to do sth.

2. While some people stick to only one kind of movie, I liketo watch different kinds depending on how I feel that day. 有些人固守仅仅一种电影，而我喜欢根据自己当天的心情观看不同种类的电影。

连词while 在此处强调两种事物、情况等之间的差别，表示对比。

depending on how I feel that day 现在分词做后置定语。

stick to (doing) sth. 意为“坚持（做）某事，固守（做）某事”

我还是坚持我自己的决定。 I ______ ______ mydecision.

stick 动词，意为“粘贴，将….刺入”其过去式和过去分词为“stuck”.

3. When I’m down or tired, I prefer movies that can cheer meup.

当我沮丧或疲劳时，我更喜欢使我振作起来的电影。

① down 形容词，意为“悲哀的，沮丧的”

let sb. down 让某人失望

down 副词，介词意为“坐下”

② cheer up 意为“是振作，使高兴起来”，是“动作+副词”型副词，宾语若是代词，则必须放在中间。

try one’s best to do sth. 意为“尽某人最大的努力做某事”，相当于do one’s best todo sth.

plenty of 意为“大量，充足”，据可修饰可数名词，又可修饰不可数名词。
