At 18:54 this evening (October 8), the special program of Taste on CCTV-10, Taste, Golden Autumn Flavor, leads food lovers to find the answers.

东莞人饮食讲究应季而食,一年四季都有当季的美食。什么美食能代表东莞秋天的味道?是膏满肉丰的青蟹、丰富鲜美的海产,还是腊味的飘香,牛肉的厚味、烧鹅的酥嫩……今晚(10月8日)18:54央视科教频道(CCTV-10)《味道》国庆特别节目《味之道·金秋好风味》带着我们一起寻找答案。

Hengli cattle feast 

横沥全牛宴





"A thousand years of Hengli, a hundred years of cattle". Dongguan Hengli Cattle Farm is one of China's four famous cattle farms. It originated in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties and has more than 400 years of history.

“千载横沥,百年牛行”。东莞市横沥牛行是全国四大知名牛行之一,起源于明末清初,至今已有400余年历史。

Unlike Chaoshan beef hotpot, the beef dishes here combine various cooking methods of Cantonese cuisine.

每天繁忙的牛只交易也催生了这里牛肉美食的诞生,和潮汕地区牛肉火锅的吃法不同,这里的牛肉菜品做法结合了粤菜的各种烹饪方式。

说起东莞的标志性美食,无论如何都绕不开东莞腊肠。
