PI简介

赵烨博士于2019年1月以助理教授身份入职佐治亚理工学院机械工程系(The George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering, Georgia Tech)，同时隶属于机器人与智能机器研究中心(Autonomy Direction, Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines, IRIM)。欢迎对智能机器人运动规划、学习、决策、控制方向感兴趣并有志于成为相关领域科研工作者的同学以及研究者联系赵烨博士（[e-mail]）。 

赵烨博士2011年本科毕业于哈尔滨工业大学控制科学与工程系自动化专业（师从高会军教授和张立宪教授），随后于2016年在德州大学奥斯汀分校机械工程系获得硕士和博士学位（师从Luis Sentis教授），同年获得机器人辅修专业学位。赵烨长期致力于机器人轨迹优化算法，自主鲁棒实时运动规划和决策，模型预测控制，全身运动控制方面的研究，主要问题关注人形机器人在复杂环境下行走、操作以及抓取的行为。论文发表在包括International Journal of Robotics Research, IEEE Transactions on Robotics, Robotics: Science and Systems, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks等机器人和控制领域国际顶级期刊以及会议，引用超过600次。同时他担任机器人领域顶级会议IROS ICT Chair, IEEE RAS Student Activities Committee Co-chair，以及相关会议审稿编委，其合著文章被评为2016年IEEE-RAS全身运动控制委员会最佳论文入围奖。

for this position, we are looking for candidates with strong backgrounds in robotic motion planning, machine learning, control theory, and excellent programming skills (python and c/c++). candidates with bachelor's or m.s. degrees in meche, ece, aeroe, cs, or equivalent are welcome to apply. excellent communication skills (both written and oral) are essential. any experience with real robot hardware (in particular, legged systems) will be a plus but not necessary.
