VSI: 2020 CES Conferences —A Special Issue of the China Economic Review

The Chinese Economists Society publishes selected conference papers in a special issue of the China Economic Review every year. While the global pandemic has forced us to cancel or postpone our conferences this year, our research cannot stop. We have therefore decided to still publish the special issue as originally planned.

Professor Yingyao Hu (from JHU) and I will be the co-editors of this special issue. We welcome any manuscript with a focus on the Chinese economy, regardless whether it has been submitted to this year’s CES conferences. We give preference to research that combines economic theory with careful empirical analysis.  

When you start the submission process at the China Economic Review website, you will be asked to choose an article type. Please select “VSI: 2020 CES Conferences” to submit to this special issue. The submission deadline is December 31, 2020.
