【Hello Monday】It's Not an Accident
Have you ever wondered why human beings are naturally born with two ears, two eyes, two hands, two legs, but just one mouth? Could there be a special reason, or is it just a mere coincidence? Well it could be attributed to the following reasons:
In the same vein, Dalai Lama said “When you talk, you are only repeating what you know. But if you listen, you may learn something new”.
The best way to know the real nature of people is to observe their actions with your own eyes. Like Amanda Patterson rightly put it, “One of the most important things I’ve learned in life is to ignore most of what they say. I watch what they do instead”. Words may like, but actions will tell the truth.
It’s better to work hard in silence and let your success speak for you. Mahatma Gandhi, the civil rights activist who led the Indian Independence Movement is quoted as saying “An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching”.
Don’t promise. Prove with your actions. It’s high time we learned to imitate the clock; it keeps moving regardless of the season. Empty talks don’t build mansions. When you talk big, you have to back it with your actions, in order for people to really believe what you say.
