It is a western traditional festival
held on November 1st of each year.
万圣节又叫诸圣节

And Halloween Eve is
the most lively
moment of the festival.
In Chinese,
Halloween Eve is often
mistranslated as Halloween.
而万圣节前夕是这个节日最热闹的时刻

There are many iconic things of Halloween. Pumpkin lamp is one ofthe most important symbols.万圣节有许多具有标志性的事物南瓜灯是万圣节的最重要的象征之一In western countries,everybody will make pumpkin lanternswith different expressions by themselves.在西方人们会自制不同表情的南瓜灯After many processes,you can have a lovely and interesting pumpkin lamp.在经过多道工序之后可爱又有趣的南瓜灯出炉
Trick or Treat is also a feature of Halloween. On that day，children will dress in freaky costumefrom house to house and ask for presents like candies or toys.不给糖就捣蛋也是万圣节的特色在那天孩子们将会穿着特殊的衣服走街串巷讨取糖果和玩具之类的礼品If they don't get any treats,they might play a trick on the homeowners.如果他们得不到任何的礼物就可能会对屋主大搞恶作剧或者胡闹了
According to legend,on that night,all kinds of ghosts will turn into childrenand join to celebrate All Saints' Day.传说在这一晚各种鬼怪也会装扮成小孩混入人群一起庆祝万圣节的来临
