Alex and Leo were brothers.
艾利克斯和利奥是兄弟。
They were twins,
他们是双胞胎，
but they were very different.

Leo was a very good boy.
利奥是个非常好的男孩子。
He worked hard at school.
他在学校学习很努力。
Everyday after school he did his homework.

He helped his mother.

He played football with his father.

Alex was different.

He didn't like school.

He didn't work hard.

He was bored in class and he drew pictures.

He didn't do his homework.
他不做他的家庭作业。
He didn't help his mother.
他不帮助他的妈妈。
"You shouldn't draw pictures in class,"
said his mother. "
“你不应该在课堂上画画。”妈妈说道。
You should work hard and do your homework,"
“你应该努力学习，做你的家庭作业。”
said his father.
他的爸爸说。
One day Alex and Leo were at school.
一天艾利克斯和利奥在学校。
Their mother was in their bedroom.
他们的妈妈去他们的卧室。
She opened a cupboard.
她打开了衣柜。
She saw a notebook and read it.
她看到了一个笔记本，看了起来。
It was a story with beautiful pictures.
这个故事带有许多漂亮的图片。
It was about a blind man and a kind boy.
是关于一个盲人和一个善良的男孩。
"My clever boy," said the mother.
“聪明的孩子。”妈妈说道，
"My clever Leo can write interesting stories!
“聪明的利奥能写出有趣的故事。
He can draw very well too!"
他画的还很好。”
At that moment Alex opened the door.
就在那时，艾利克斯打开了门。
"Alex," said his mother,
“艾利克斯”，妈妈说道，
"Look, this is your brother's book.
“看，这是你弟弟的笔记本，
He wrote this story."
他写了这个故事。”
"Do you like the story?" asked Alex.
“你喜欢这个故事吗？”艾利克斯问道。
"Yes, I do. It's very good!"
“是的，我喜欢。它太棒了。”
said his mother proudly.
他妈妈骄傲地说道。
"Thank you," said Alex.
“谢谢你。”艾利克斯说道。
"It's mine. I wrote it."
“这是我的。我写的故事。”
Alex looked at his mother.
艾利克斯看着妈妈。
His mother looked at him.
他的妈妈看着他。
"I'm glad you like my story," said Alex.
“我很开心你喜欢我的故事。”艾利克斯说。
Twenty years later,
20年后，
Alex became a famous writer.
艾利克斯成了一个著名的作家。
