福建省统计科学重点实验室（厦门大学）

厦门大学经济学院统计系、王亚南经济研究院、邹至庄经济研究中心、“计量经济学”教育部重点实验室（厦门大学）和福建省统计科学重点实验室（厦门大学）将于2018年12月28日至30日在厦门大学联合召开“2018年厦门大学现代统计学研讨会”。本次会议的主要目的是为了促进国内外统计学者之间的学术交流和合作，更好地推动统计学科、计量经济学科及相关应用学科的发展，同时加强厦门大学统计学科与国内外各兄弟院校之间的协同合作。

本次研讨会主题将主要涉及到现代统计学和计量经济学科的理论和应用，包括数理统计、经济统计、计量经济、生物统计、金融统计及其相关应用领域。欢迎国内外统计学者，研究生及相关领域专家学者参加本次研讨会。

目前，已经确定参加本次研讨会的特邀报告人名单如下（按姓氏排列）：

2018年12月28日（周五）至30日（周日）召开，其中12月28日报到，12月29-30日作学术报告。

参会费用

本次会议不收取任何会议费。会议期间，主办方为邀请报告人提供住宿和餐饮，但交通费需自理。其他参会代表的交通费和住宿均自理。

We are happy to announce that the 2018 Symposium on Modern Statistics at Xiamen University,co-organized by Department of Statistics,School of Economics,Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE) and Gregory and Paula Chow Center for Economic Research,Xiamen University, China,will be held on December 28-30,2018 at Xiamen University.The main purpose of this symposium is to provide a platform for active statisticians from China and overseas to exchange the ideas with each other and present their latest results in the modern statistics frontiers.The symposium will consist of a series of workshops focusing on new developments of modern statistical theory and methodology as well as their applications including but not limited to Mathematical Statistics,Economic Statistics,Econometrics,Financial Econometrics and Biostatistics.

PAPER  SUBMISSION AND REGISTRATION：

The program committee invites high quality papers on the related fields in modern statistics as well as their applications.To be considered for a presentation,a PDF or a WORD file of the full paper should be submitted to our conference website via http://conf.xmu.edu.cn/modernstatistics2018/ before December 5,2018. The title page of paper should include the information of thepresenter (full name, affiliation, email address), and up to six keywords. The decision of acceptance will be announced by December 10, 2018.

There will be no registration fees. For invited speakers, accommodation and meals will be provided during the conference, but the participants are expected to cover their own travel expenses. For other participants, the participants are expected to cover their own travel and hotel expenses.
