Spring is in the air! Come out on next Sunday and join us for the first Prototype's Weekend Art Market! The spring edition will bring together illustrators, photographers, jewelry designers and craftsmen all under one roof. Free entrance, with the goal of being a platform for communication and exploration, the art market will feature 15 different artists, with work that spans nature, tattoo, film, photography and more. DJ, A Cappella and magic performances, eastern and western snacks served, to make a nice afternoon that can't be missed.

FEI FEI 是生活在北京的商业插画师。在美国和英国学习完之后来到了北京，开始全职做插画。最近Fei Fei在创作一些和季节有关的画面，这次市集将会带来新作品和大家见面。
After studying in the US and UK, Fei Fei is a full-time illustrator working and living in Beijing. Lately she's been experimenting with colors that create a certain atmosphere, such as breezy spring. 'I'll be bringing some new work I created based on this lovely season,' she says.

在北京生活中发掘的惊喜与奇遇，帮助Liuba更好地启发她在艺术上的创作天分，在不断的学习和运用新技巧的同时，Liuba主要使用水粉画的形式和技巧，来表达她眼中的北京文化和北京人。目前Liuba的个人品牌——LiubaDraws有一系列生趣可爱的小物件，在北京城内几个知名的市场有售。
Liuba Draws has been living in Beijing for more than 8 years, capturing all the quirky and wonderful parts of life in the Chinese capital – and it's Liuba's artistic mission to capture these little moments. Currently Liuba is developing her own brand, Liuba Draws, with popular products like Beijing calendars, Christmas cards, prints, cards, keychains, magnets, mugs, postcards and more.

张弛是来自中国的插画师和艺术家：“20种颜色是我一直在制作的项目，以颜色出发用相同的颜色但不同的搭配表现出不同城市的气息和感受。这一次我将会带来我的北京和蒙多基里/柬埔寨与大家见面。”
Zhang Chi is an illustrator and artist from China, most recently working on a project titled Twenty-Colours. 'I use complimentary and contrast colors to highlight the feeling each city gives me,' Zhang says. For this weekend's fair, find his illustrated print of Beijing and Cambodia.

Sam Watterson 来自英国，之前学的是设计和动画，作品里经常用到卡通人物、文字、抽象艺术和拼贴。他的作品灵感来源于大自然和人。这次市集他会带来一套VR（虚拟现实）设备，并特别以新国贸饭店为灵感元素创作了全新VR艺术作品，看到不一样的新国贸饭店哦。
Originally from the UK, Sam Watterson is inspired by nature and people. 'I like to work with cartoon characters, words, abstract and collage, and have a background in design and animation,' says Sam. At the fair, Sam will bring his new VR art piece inspired by Hotel Jen Beijing, to see our hotel from an artistic angle.

来自法国的专业摄影师，在意大利学习了电影，在苏格兰学了摄影。围绕着一个湖北的皮影戏剧院，Aurelien导演了纪录片 “Of Shadows and Men”，这个纪录片之后被很多国际电影节选入。自从2011年起他开始了北京生活，作品涵盖了纪录片风格和商业风格的摄影，被很多客户所青睐，包括Forbes, Buberry, Louis Vuitton, Volkswagen, Durex, Parkview Green等。这次市集他将会带来各种摄影作品，包括风景、概念、纪录片风格的作品。
Aurélien Foucault is a professional artist-photographer. Originally from France, Foucault studied cinema in Italy and photography in Scotland, before directing the short documentary film Of Shadows and Men, about a shadow puppet theater in Hubei province. His film has been selected for international festivals and was screened around the world.
He's been based in Beijing since 2011, working as an independent photographer with a deep connection to the world of arts and music. His work has been published in Forbes, Libération, Handelszeitung, Vision and VSD, and he has been commissioned for clients like Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Volkswagen, Durex and Parkview Green. At Prototype's art market, find a mix of his landscape, conceptual and document photography.

An illustrator and travel blogger based between Beijing and London, Jiasi Lee's illustration works are mainly about city lifestyle and vintage subculture. Her main products are Beijing hutong travel guide books, London city map illustrations and Chongqing landscape prints.

Hole in the Wall/
《Hole in the Wall》是一本由Jinna 和 Shui这两位插画师联合创办的插画小合集。创作取材于北京地区，并以独立出版物、壁饰、插画作品等形式进行展览。由于深刻地体会到这个城市强大的生命力，他们想记录下生活在如此背景下的人儿。可以是正值芳华的年轻人，可以是事业得意的北漂族，也可以是失意迷茫的学生党等等。一本独立小杂志就这样诞生了，本次市集可以见到哦。
Hole in the Wall is a collective founded by illustrators Jinna and Shui, who create illustrations inspired by Beijing’s underground culture and display them as zines, wall murals and prints. Overwhelmed by the vibrant energy of the city, Hole in the Wall documents the young, the excited and the lost. The duo have taken part in various creative events and published issues focusing on bars, hutongs and their inhabitants.

STRING成立于2015年，2018年成立了年轻的副线品牌STRING+，融合了更时髦新奇的元素，把有意思好玩的首饰集合在一起。STRING主线主要经营独立设计手工制做首饰，将寻求自由生活方式的理念注入作品，让艺术与设计之间寻求平衡。尝试在创作过程中运用不同的材质，并结合其他领域所带来的灵感，创造出有意思的珠宝首饰。
STRING was established in 2015. In 2018, they evolved their business to become String+, with a design philosophy to seek freedom and always use unexpected, exciting materials.
