One morning three little pigs

said goodbye to their mother.

一天早上，三只小猪和他们的妈妈告别。

They went out to build 

their own houses.

他们出去建造自己的房子了。

The first little pig 

did not like to work.

第一只小猪不喜欢干活。

He built his house out of straw.

他用稻草盖了房子。

This was easy and quick.

这很容易，很快就建好了。

The second little pig

built his house out of sticks.

第二只小猪用木棍建造了房子。

This was easy and quick, too.

这也很容易，很快。

The third little pig

built his house out of bricks.

第三只小猪用砖头盖了他的房子。

This was difficult and slow,

but the house was strong.

这很难，盖得很慢，但是房子很结实。

One night the wolf 

came to the straw house.

一天晚上，一只狼来到了稻草房子。

He broke in.

他破门而入。

The first little pig

ran to his brother's stick house.

第一只小猪就跑到他哥哥

用木棍建的房子里。

Then the wolf 

came to the stick house.

之后，这只狼来到了用木棍建的房子。

The house was not strong.

这房子也不结实。

The two pigs were scared.

两只小猪很害怕。

The two little pigs were afraid.

这两只小猪很害怕。

They ran to their brother's 

brick house.

他们就跑到了他们哥哥用砖头建的房子里。

Then the wolf 

came to the brick house.

一会儿狼又来到了用砖头建造的房子。

It was very strong.

房子很坚固。

The wolf could not break in.

狼无法破门而入。

Three little pigs

were singing a song in the house.

三只小猪在房子里面唱起了歌。

"Who is afraid of the big bad wolf,

big bad wolf, big bad wolf?"

“谁害怕大坏狼、大坏狼、大坏狼？”
